I went in there with sympathy for the bad review that was given. Hey - if you chip your wine bottle thats your fault. Dont be a jerk and return it. Anyway - I went there to buy six bottles and Emile was extremely helpful. He pulled bottles off the shelf that Im happy with, based upon my criteria. Good wine sellers can tell what kind of wine you like when you walk in the door. This is one of them. Great selection, good prices, and nice atmosphere complete with classical music and an old French guy telling stories about Normandy. Love it.

My wife and I are HUGE fans of Champion Cellars. Emile knows wine like no one else Ive ever met. He prides himself on knowing and stocking great wines in all price ranges. Whether you want a dry rose from Provence, a big Champagne from (where else?) Champagne, the finest port from Portugal, or a rare Northwest wine, you can find it here. They can even help you find the right wine for the specific dish or the perfect wine for an important occasion. If theres a better wine shop in Seattle Ive not found it and Ive been all over this town.

I am always happy with the selections I take home from Champion Cellars. Its a great establishment and the gentlemen that work there are always cheerful and of course very knowledgeable. They have a great range of price points and are just as happy helping you find a $10 bottle as a $100 bottle.
