If youre in pain and you want to die... waiting on your prescription here will likely fill the time until you do. They never check their messages for new call ins, never check faxes, dont fill a single prescription until you show up for it then spend half an hour trying to find it; then they start filling it. Hour 20 is a good low estimate from your time making it to counter to getting to take a pill. Im concerned the elderly waiting on meds will spend their last hours here waiting on their life saving drugs. I like to bring my sick children in for their meds and leave them sick and feverish in the candy isle so if they die waiting they at least go happy and hopefully do as much property damage as possible so I feel a bit better. Luckily the other drug stores went out of business or are so dirty Bartells the only option in this neighborhood.

For a store that specializes in pharmacy, they have a terrible pharmacy. Even with a half dozen people in the pharmaceutical area, and ordering refills six or eight hours ahead of time, there is a routine wait of at least 10 minutes (when Im the only one there) as counter workers scramble around shopping baskets (?!?) full of scripts. Not going back.
