i contacted this store as i was trying to sell a bedroom set and a coffee table. A man named Victor answered me saying he was very interested by teh coffee table and the two bedroom chests but will pass on the bed frame. he mentioned i could stop by anytime to bring those items. i answered him telling him it wa sgreat to take the coffee table but concerning the bedroom set i found an other consigment store ready to take all the pieces inculding the bed frame which is nicer as the pieces fit all together as a very nice bedroom. he answered right away saying he wonttake the coffee table as he was not quite sure after all but di not want ".. be picking and choosing too much on you." which i did not understand the meaning of his words.... he said also that before bringing my bedroom set anywhere else i should do better researches and visit his store... he was quite rude. i know his store and all i can say now is that i will never buy anything there as Victor is not really a polite and honest person. I do not mind that he changed his mind about the coffee table, what i mind is teh way he dares to speak to customers!

A quality consignment store if for no other reason than the size. You spend more time driving to most stores than you do browsing them, but you can actually spend a decent amount of time walking the two floors of BCS. They have a wide selection of, well, most everything. Youll find your share of furniture, clothes, nicknacks, and other random things to impress your friends with. It took us a couple visits to find something we actually wanted to buy, but it turned out to be the perfect vintage dining room table for our new house... so it was worth the effort. Weve never gone on purpose, we just walk in randomly when were in the area. I think we got a decent deal, so Im sure well be back. Rumor has it theyre expanding to take over the huge space Skarbos, so theyll be even more expansive. Theyll actually get dedicated parking with the expansion, so +1 there.

Incredible variety and excellent prices! My children enjoyed roaming the TWO extensive floors of furniture and household goods as much as I did. I have to say, the owner and staff were very patient as we tried out every chair and bed in the place. I was careful to make sure they kept their feet off the furniture though. :) There were so many unique pieces and artistic decor, it was like visiting 15 stores at once. If you need a toaster, tea cup, new outfit, or are ready to redecorate your whole place: save time, gas, and money and stop in here first!

My boyfriend and I wandered in here for fun after going to the Sunday Farmers market. We were surprised at how huge this place is! It seemed every turn of a corner, or every staircase wed climb, wed find a whole new room filled with interesting knick knacks. Lots of things had sold tags on them, and there were a fair amount of other people wandering through. The staff seemed very attentive as well, in a non judgmental way. I think this shop is lovely for a visit, regardless of if you plan on buying something or not.

If you like to bargain with sales people this is a good place to shop. The furniture is cute, but I feel like its slightly over priced. 1 year in and the couch has lost a button. We go there a lot and the sales people are very attentive, borderline pushy, but that seems to have mellowed in the last two visits. They have both new and used furniture, lots of vintage pieces. Its a fun place.

Kind of a quirky place. The prices range between being reasonable and a true deal, but sometimes youll have to haggle your way down to the right price. They tend to have a lot of mid century modern type furniture, and even if they dont have what youre looking for I find its always still an enjoyable visit.

Great variety and selection. Was a big disappointed on prices though. I happened upon the same table I purchased at the store for 30% less on Amazon (same brand and make and everything according to the label) only two days after. Maybe its just my bad luck though.

Big range of furniture and art, plus housewares. Some of the wall art was like nothing Ive ever seen, especially the Art Deco photos. We were tourists rather than buyers, and it was a great way to get a taste of Ballard and the history of design.

Great furniture consignment store. Very large & right in the heart of Ballard. Taste tends to be more mid century modern, but theres something for everyone. Staff seems to be young men that are all extremely courteous, happy, and helpful!

I love the variety of furniture available at this place. Often its older mid-century modern style, but they also have pictures and vases and all sorts of decor. This place is huge. Highly recommended for a fun weekend.

The size of the store is deceptive So many levels of new, used, vintage Definitely some high end price tags but also some great bargain finds And because its a consignment store, you have negotiating power.

I LOVE this place. The show space is gigantic and the selection is unbeatable. From high end decor to killer thrift store details, it has it all. The employees are incredibly helpful and every visit is unique.

Great place to wonder about -heck, spend some money there too. Antiques to new stuff, it is a huge place, lots of oddities as well as common stuff. Prices are generally quite reasonable.

They have a wide array of furniture and home goods. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I havent consigned anything with them, but have loved all the furniture Ive purchased there.

a decent collection of items. sadly I feel for "consignment" things are WAY too expensive; is as if the ones setting the price expect the neighborhood to be rich and simply pay.

Great mix of mid century items with just enough thrift store to keep the prices down. Very eclectic collection with a fee suprises. Just scored a nice old school bar set.

The stuff they have is good quality and at a great price. I didnt feel gauged like at other furniture stores and all there stuff is already assembled.

We stop in often to see whats new. Great furniture and decr, particularly for the older homes of Seattle. Friendly staff often willing to negotiate.

We got a really nice couch for way under budget. They always have interesting pieces that are always changing and you can find some real jems!

Meh. A lot of the stuff they sell in here is not that industry and off of large lots they are liquidating. Interesting but not groundbreaking.

Dont often buy anything, mostly browse, but things change pretty frequently and the items weve bought are favorites in the house.

Only place Ive spent 6 bucks on a chocolate shake and was glad I did. Reminds me of Travoltas shake experience from Pulp Fiction.

Nice collection of clothes, but the furniture options have moved away from mid-century modern to clunky big square wooden pieces.
