At first I thought this was a great place for accessories. It looks high end with everything neatly organized by color! For me that is where the awesomeness ended. This place is no better that a Clairs or a Afterthoughts. I have sensitive ears and with exception of a FEW post earrings (I found only 6 pairs of sterling silver posts in the entire store), EVERYTHING else has no indication as to what metals are use in their products. Is it nickel-free? Surgical steel? Cheaply painted metal that will flake off after you wear it twice? No clue! Everything there seems to be made in china, though they tout that they are a Dallas, Texas company. Many of the earrings I saw there had bent posts or missing pieces. The tissue paper they use to wrap up your purchased items in smells musty and mildew-y, which is another thing I am allergic to. Bleh. I would not recommend this place.

I bought a $40 purse and within two hours of the purchase, the buckle on the handle had already broke off. Unfortunately, there was only one purse (The one I purchased) So I was unable to exchange it, plus I drove quite a distance to get it! The quality of the bag was very cheap, and Im extremely disappointed.

I buy all of my purses and scarfs from Charming Charles. You have really examine the jewelry to be sure it will last. I have bought some my most favorite braclets and necklaces from there. All stores have good and bad inventory.

Charming Charlie is the best place to find costume jewelry inexpensive and a wide of variety in all sorts of colors and styles with purses, shoes, and clothing to match. Such a fun place.
