This is all true. Went to get my prescription, which I pay for out of pocket. For the last 3 years it has been around the same price. I went yesterday, they said the price was nearly four times the amount I usually pay. I asked how it quadrupled (it went up 3.4 x) in price, and the counter lady went to the pharmacist who, without even looking up, said that the cost went up. I deserve a better answer than that. First of all they just relabel the full bottle they get from the pharmaceutical company, yes, the whole bottle. Second, I took the label off and called the manufacturer, West-Ward, who informed me that most contract prices have come down in the last year. I did receive a call from Bartells about my experience, and they agreed it should have been handled different. The Customer Service Rep (I assume) who called, whom I believe, did some research and informed me that I was being sold the drug at a loss since March 2012 and that while many of the national chains may have seen a decrease, they had seen an increase. I have transferred my prescription to Fred Meyers. Communication and respect in the first place could have saved a lot of grief. I live right between a Walgreens and a Bartells, but I had preferred using a locally owned company.

Ive been going to this pharmacy for a while and they have messed up my prescription every month. Usually they either text me to say it is ready, but I show up and they dont have it. They also say that theyll call my doctor for a refill approval, yet dont actually do it for weeks. Ive called my doctor while in there and they confirmed that Bartells literally faxed the paperwork while I was on the phone with them. I depend on my life-saving medication, and this pharmacy is the absolute worst.

One of the worst pharmacies ever. I dont think Ive ever had a prescription filled on time without an issue and returning several times. When you call in, they ask for your number but they never call back. They wait until you return and then tell you they have too many people to call so they just dont do it. ???? These are drugs people, not frozen ice pops.

The store is fine but the pharmacy is horrible. They gave my sister the wrong medication even though she told them the medication she needed and it was on her file. Pharmacy staff is extremely rude. Wouldnt recommend this place if you need a prescription filled.

The pharmacy is ruthlessly inconsistent in their verbal estimations of readiness. And will allow a 87 year old women to sit in its "Lobby", not announcing her name or Asking if shed been helped. So rude!

Clean store, good selection, friendly staff. Store is open late and has competitive prices.
