To be clear I think Ed provides top notch service. Its the frames and lenses themselves that are infuriatingly subpar. Purchased Ermenegildo Zegna frames $100+frames and then high index lens (extra light) after being sold this combination would work best aesthetically and functionally. Lees than 6 months later the arms of glasses are loose and be beyond repair due to design flaw. Also the material used for the lens are considerably heavy dispite the extra cost to get them thinner. Take your chances here but honestly I ordered of of Zenni and their frames look great and are durable. The lenses from Zenni are amazingly light and thin, made in Germany. Sorry Ed but I wont be coming back.

When I broke my glasses in half the other day, I called the optical department. Tom cheerfully answered and got incredibly excited when he looked up my account and noticed that the glasses I bought a year ago came in two days ago. He put them on hold and when I got there both he and Carla took my old lenses and put them into a new frame. This whole in-store process only took about 10 minutes! Wonderful service!

After buying from them for years, was rudely put on hold for over 10 minutes with someone coming on every so often to bark: "Thank you for calling, please hold". I was calling to make an appointment for an exam. Will never darken their door again. This behavior epitomizes the worst in human interaction & I will not support it no matter how cheap the price!!
