I have never stepped foot into an REI before in my life. That being said, there was a charge on my credit card from a STORE in CALIFORNIA that I did not make. Oh and heaven forbid we put in the CVV number on the back of the card reserved for this very issue. Now I called their credit card services department and spoke with a WONDERFUL employee named Devin. He was great and extremely helpful. However, due to their whatever, they are unable to refund MY credit card the transaction because someone in THEIR store typed in the credit card number wrong. Now I am out my credit card which is reserved for emergencies and am inconvenienced by having to call up my credit card company to tell them. That I have already contacted the retailer, the retailer assures me that it was not my purchase. Because I am sitting here in Washington state and the expiration date doesnt match nor does the address of the shipped purchase. I realize human error occurs. Maybe one should rethink the policy if someone can verify everything on your system is incorrect, that the person who has done nothing wrong shouldnt be punished for someone elses mistake. I will not be shopping with this company ever.

Order Number 80173963! This company does not follow their Pricing policies and does not Honor their sale Price. They had a sale of ski bindings and I purchased one and received an Order confirmation. Two days later cause they were selling the item too cheap they cancelled my Order. When I called the customer service number got the answer that they ran out of stock but I still see the same product but different price. Than next step they offered me an 20% Discount on Full priced Item. That is good but I already made a purchase on your site and received Confirmation Email. This means that you acknowledge the Sale and last thing is to provide me with shipping information. On the other hand my name is not American and probably the Management think that this is going to be an easy cover up for an Bad Online Sale cause I wont bring this furthermore. I did not expect this Company to be that Unprofessional and to try to Bullshit a Regular Customer that bad. Please be extremely careful buying online from that Retailer!!!

I have been a REI member for 8 years! I have been a die hard fan! I have seen the company change into a corporate giant. Everything that made REI great is gone! The rei promise is a lie. They dont honor the lifetime anymore and they dont do the one year anymore. Go in find what you want and buy it cheaper online! If the rei promise is gone then there is no value to the REI brand. If you want good gear check out six moon designs, zpacks, Dutch wear gear, and Amazon. Rei has lost my business forever! The product I have is covered through the company that made it. Thx for nothing rei you lost a great customer and have overcharged me for years. The one time I ask you to warranty something you say no! F rei!

Overpriced. Didnt have the equipment I needed. The equipment I did buy did not work as well as MUCH cheaper alternatives. They sent a refund check to my old address in MN while I was bicycling to CA from Chicago without even telling me. The last return was put on my card, what am I supposed to do with a check that far away? It also took them a week, after receiving the merch to mail the check. I really wish I had never gone to this store.

Love REI, but this one is not my favorite, the selection is a little light compared to most of the other stores. Staff is great, still the best place around here to spend my lunch hour!

Fantastic food in the cafeteria and even better employees! The facilities offer a nice place for employees to bring their dogs and have them run around outside - huge plus in my book!

They my be expensive but well worth it they have great clothing that will keep you warm in the winter and excellent customer service .
