We tried for a few months to order "bolillos", 100 to 200 a week. The baker, Jesús Cruz never, never, not even once was happy about this order. He scolded me for buying them even though it was a special order I had to pay a week in advance! I would arrived to pick them up and the order WAS NEVER READY! NEVER! The front desk ask me to speak with the manager, I didnt want to give the baker trouble. The last day I went to the store I finally did. An "Im sorry was all I got". Unbelievable! I had to drive 45 minutes to an hour to get the bread just to find out that my order was not made. I called to make sure it was ready but the employees seemed to be, from another planet and have NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON except Malena, a girl from Guam who was a dream to work with. Thanks Malena and thank you but, NO THANK YOU!

I honestly live this store and the very diverse food items that are available here. Russian to Samoan to Hispanic and Indian. I love it and in the past year theyve had both a restaurant and smoothie stand open up. They have many items available too from handmade tortillias, carnitas, raw local honey that is very good and sweet. The wildflower honey is fairly sweeter than others but I love it. This place is well worth going to check out. They also process payments for both PSE and Comcast/Xfinity. So I have nothing but good opinions about this store and recommend it yo others as a great place. Definitely deserves a 5 star. They accept cash, credit cards, check (I think) and EBT both cash and SNAP. Enjoy!!!!

Valley Harvest has some really interesting ethnic food and misc items, but what really bothers me is that they refuse to let shoppers use the restrooms (I was told the customers are too dirty, which is why they cant use them), however the store itself is dirty, so obviously the owners are not hiring cleaning staff. When we shop there for my husbands African food I cringe wondering if rats and cockroaches come out at night. But I found the staff there helpful, but a little abrupt, its not easy to communicate with the staff members.

lots of different cultural foods. Great place but customer service could sure use some improvements! Not helpful and the hispanic restaurant they have inside is great food but again the staff is always in a bad mood and there hours of restaurant operation are 9-5. However you can be there well after nine AM and they say they are not ready. When you point out the time to open they say that is wrong. This happens at any time! Not sure what is going on with staff but choices in food selection are great.

If you want an immaculate, corporate experience than go ahead and rate it one star. If, however, youre looking to save money on fresh vegetables and fruit; this place is invaluable. The fruit/vegetable/meat prices at Valley Harvest are usually way lower than a corporate grocery store. I usually come here, buy all my fruits and vegetables and then go across the street and buy all my normal groceries at Safeway. If you avoid this store because its FILTHY then you just cost yourself a lot of money.

The Russian store is the best. Theyve got all the chocolates I could ever want. Yeah, I got issues, but chocolate solves them all. I drive 45 minutes every week to get them. One of the employees is #cute and I just wish I had the confidence to go up to them and say hi. Maybe one day! Until then, I will try to go back for your mediocre tacos and donuts

The bakery is over priced. The sliced cakes are always stale. $1.50 each is a bit too much to find out its going to the trash after purchasing. Some of the items in the store are not worth purchasing either. In comparison to other stores, its too overpriced. Might as well drive to the nearest Walmart.

Great multi ethnic grocery market to buy both vegetables as well as packaged Asian and Hispanic products such as canned goods and sauces that are either unavailable at the Safeway across the street or significantly more expensive.
