I have now been to Legendary Doughnuts four times. Twice I purchased doughnuts from them and was unimpressed. A lack of flavor covered up fancy presentation. This coupled with a texture that I would expect to find in second rate grocery store offerings. The other two times there was a short line but I still waited over 5 min only to have the line not move due to people buying a dozen doughnuts. Thier system for purchasing a dozen doughnuts is overly complex. When combined with understaffing, a long wait seems to be the norm. Both times I decided that a mediocre doughnut was not worth the wait and left the store. I was not the only person to leave the store without buying a doughnut on these occasions. The product is fancy to look at but not worth the higher price nor the long wait times. I sincerely hope that Legendary Doughnuts fixes these problems in the months to come. A truly premium doughnut shop in Federal Way would be a great addition.

The store design was very nice, cool colors, nice lights, andthe doughnuts looked good, BUT I walked in and 1. It Smelled very bad 2. The working area behind the counter was very unorganized and dirty 3. The tables, bar, and floors were extremely dirty and just simply disgusting After seeing that i left without getting anything to eat. The staff however, was very friendly, they just need to put a bucket with sanitizer behind the counter and as soon as someone leaves take a rag and clean the table/bar. And if you have 3 minutes in between, take a broom and sweep.

The facility itself seems rather unfinished, as if they were rushed to get open. But the food looks great, people are nice, service is fast. As far as the real important stuff; the doughnuts are amazing and live up to the hype - and then some. I always try an old fashioned at donut shops, something of a basis for comparison. It was awesome. Went back a week later to try it again just to see if the first one was a fluke. Nope, just as awesome as the first, might be the best one Ive had.

I decided to try them out, its in a good location,the problem I had was it had very little selection,of course it was 5pm, but you would think they would have enough for a dozen of the regular donuts, they had one girl working behind the case, she was very polite and fast, the shop seems rather cold,definately not a Starbucks, it lacks the I want to hang out and enjoy a donut atmosphere,but overall it definitely is the go to place in the south end for donuts.

I havent been here yet personally, but I was telling my cousin that theres this new doughnut place in Federal Way that we have to try. She ended up surprising me and brought me a chocolate cake doughnut from there. My first reaction was "wow!". It looked good and was humongous. After My 1st bite, I was hooked. It tasted good and I couldnt even eat it all in 1 day, because it was so big. I will be going there myself to get a variety.

Donuts are donuts and Legendary Donuts is really no better than your standard shop despite what thier advertising says. In fact, if they would save their money on the fancy signs they could lower their prices a bit and I wouldnt feel like such a chump after spending $4 on a donut. Selection is OK and service is OK. Nothing special to see here folks. Move along.

The one time I tried this location, the person behind the counter was a complete and utter idiot. My friend and I were completely stunned by how stupid this person was. The donut was the worst and the coffee sucked so bad that instant coffee would have been premium. At least the location in Lake Tapps was better then this one.

Got an apple fritter, not one piece of apple anywhere in it, not even any apple flavoring. doughnuts a little on the dry side and the cinnamon buns didnt taste cinnamony or gooey like cinnabon. At this point Ill just stick with Krispy Kreme and drive outta my way for Cinnabon.

Im not sure why more reviews dont mention the size of the donuts here. They are enormous! Considering that they are all at least twice the size of donuts at any other shop, they are actually quite inexpensive. I have only tried the maple bar so far, but it was delicious.

Tried a iced mocca coffee but too much water ,and my kid smothy extremely sweet ,but doughnuts are ok . The service can be better if employees smile and pretend they like their job and stop swearing in the back ,the floors are dirty and no napkins available

I love the Tiger tail but really everything here is great and they will even make a donut for you if they have more supplies available. The donuts are quite large in general so get ready for a mouth full or bring a team!

I love the muffin and donut factory in Auburn so its nice to find a place close to home. The donuts taste great, very much like when I was a kid. Prices are high, but it beats a cheap tasteless grocery store one any day.

Pretty good doughnuts. Very large and very unique, they remind me of Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland. They arent cheap, and Im more of a simple kind of doughnut guy, but they are probably worth a try.

Credit card was cloned from their machine do not ever use card at this location when called and explained what happened to try to stop from happening to someone else didnt care

The donuts are great but the customer service is terrible. Very rude people working behind the counter. Its unfortunate because the donuts are great.

Great doughnuts and variety. They advertised a mango smoothie but were out of mango. These are large doughnuts though so dont over buy like I did.

The old fashioned donuts I got were hard. The glaze on some of my donuts was so sweet I could barely eat it. For the price, I wasnt amazed.
