Okay, so Brandy is one of the most condescending, know it all sales people(who dont know squat) i have had the misfortune of dealing with, she feels the need to correct everything a person says with her opinion which she clearly believes to be true(fyi-its not). These people dont know the first thing about timepieces(vintage or modern). So I just had Brandy literally argue with me how they know how old my vintage Omega MK1 ploprof 600 was, all without opening the watch up. Now anyone who knows vintage Omega knows the serial numbers are on the movements and thats how you find the production year, but this girl argued there were two markings on the exterior of the watch that enabled their buyer to know my model year(its impossible, watch was made for 9 yrs with 3 variants)...the only numbers seen are part numbers on the clasp, a part you can still buy from Omega today, even the model number is in the interior of the monoblock case and cannot be seen without removing the movement(movement is top loaded) rather than listen to me and educate herself, Brandy argued and I had to raise my voice(she seems to think clients want her opinions, if I dont ask for it, well I dont want it, especially when her opinion is based on an assumption). Im 40 and have been collecting vintage Rolex, Tudor and Omega since I was 15, Im talking double red sea-dwellers, Red subs, Daytonas, Snowflake subs...the list goes on and on, my point being is I know the market on vintage. I also am able to service movements and refinish cases myself, how many watch buyers have a lathe and mill at home for watch making, only the most serious collectors do. So a dealer in my home state offered me a swap on a watch with a $12300 MSRP, goldfarb said $2700 trade...lol...the box, blank papers and instructions alone on my piece are worth $2000!! Wholesale on my piece is $5000-6300 with box, papers and instructions and retail $8500-10,000 and now the same look but later model(which has a different model number) would be their trade number, but I guess details are not important to them because all watches look alike. The issue isnt so much getting a bad bid, its how the bid came about and how it was delivered, that both visits I had brandy voicing opinions that went in contrast to mine, which a salesperson should never voice with a client if not requested, especially if they are not well educated on the subject..I dont want to be spoken to like that when looking to spend $9000 on a timepiece. Several others at goldfarb seemed nice and were not looking to correct clients, they were approachable and chatted with me on non business stuff! If this had been a positive experience I would of extended the olive branch to my friends(several CEOs of fortune 500 companies, couple of NHL players, one NBA player, a few politicians also). I think these guys need to hire someone who knows watches and has built a reputation around being a buyer, they also need to train Brandy on how people like myself want to be spoken to....I came in wearing a new $8200 Omega chronograph, had a another expensive timepiece in my hands to possibly trade, in my eye that is a deal waiting to happen and Im shocked at how poor the experiece was and Im a very reasonable guy(not looking for retail prices on my trade)I just did a wholesale deal on two timepieces last month and my numbers were fair and the dealer agreed to my terms, the dealer actually said it was nice to deal with someone who knows the vintage market. I buy luxury items all the time, how i was spoken to by Brandy is 100% unacceptable in any situation, speaking over clients is not okay! Asking clients to leave their watches for trade evaluations is silly in 2016, after 3 days I got annoyed and picked it up, two days later they called me with an evaluation that would of worked on a later model that wasnt in a complete set.

I was buying my first piece of jewelry from a real jewelry store and Angela at the Bellevue store made me into a forever client! I was ordering a Philip Stein watch band just before Christmas and she made sure the store got the band in time to give Christmas morning! She talked to me on a very personal and professional level. She helped me try on a lot of beautiful jewelry! I really recommend this shop and will buy from them in the future!

Best Jeweler in Washington! I was looking for an engagement ring in different stores all the way from Tacoma, to Eatonville, to Seattle and Bellevue. Alvin Goldfarb was the only store where I was truly helped. They are not on commission and you can definitely tell the difference. I will go here everytime I have a piece of jewelry to buy!

Worst experience of my life. Never go this jewelry store. The good reviews on here I am positive and written by the staff. They treated my boyfriend and I horribly even before we walked in questioning our every move and then ignored us when we showed interested in certain pieces. They should reconsider restaffing this place.

Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler was fantastic. They worked with me to create exactly the engagement ring I wanted and within the budget I specified. The creation of the ring only took about a week and they were able to resize the ring within an hour. Everyone was very helpful and nice and I highly recommend them.
