I pass this place all the time on the way back from the Beach. Last night I decided to stop. Really cool old car in front. Set up like a gas station from the 50s place was clean and nice Bathrooms were clean. I waited about 5 minutes for a family 5. They had 3 small kids in front of me deciding what they wanted. I noticed the scoops were huge! They were bigger then a base ball. These kids had a huge cones. I cannot imagine anyone giving their kids that much Sugar at 8:30 pm. But wow. I also cannot imagine complaining about the portion size either. Anyway I ordered drip coffee. I asked if it was hot so she tested it and said "yeah I think so." She poured me a small amount . I agreed it was hot. Then to make sure she steamed the cream too! She gave me a huge scoop of Chocolate land slide (Awesome flavor) and rang up the coffee I was out $4.36. Great price, great Ice cream, great coffee, great service. I have a new stop to make every time I go through town. This is a great place to take your kids. Fast, great price, a staff that smiles and is customer oriented. Portions are huge and the quality is great.. Stop by there ill bet you it will become a habit.

Went for a banana split, was told they were out of the boat container and the banana split would need to be served in a bowl. OK, cool. Well when I saw that the scoops of ice cream were barely fitting in the bowl, I asked where all the other stuff would go. Was told that she would just smash the ice cream down to make room. So the banana had to be sliced, there was not enough room in the bowl to drizzle the syrup toppings separately so they all got put in the same spot. No room for whipped topping or cherries. I asked why we were being charged full price for a product that wasnt complete. The excuse I got was because there is no room for the rest of the toppings. I asked how that was our fault and told her we shouldnt be getting charged full price. She then placed the blame on the gal who made it by saying the gal was new!? How does that even make sense? I told her again that that wasnt my fault and its wrong to charge full price. She didnt care, no discount was offered.

Thanks to misinformation by the staff and a label on their window saying dairy free ice cream at Scoops Ice Cream and Coffee my 7yr old ended up in the ER. She has a sever allergy to dairy and ate some of their so called "dairy free" ice cream. Once she started having breathing issues in their parlor, I confronted them and found the label stated the 1st ingredient was dairy. I returned to my child to administer medication so she wouldnt stop breath. My husband confronted the staff and they wiped the label off the window that stated it was dairy free. My daughter had to be rushed to the ER for medical treatment and observation. This is unacceptable!!!

Ice cream is great but these people cant make drinks for the life of them. The coffee was expensive and weak. Our hot chocolate and chai tea were made incorrectly and we had 4 (FOUR!!) incorrect charges on our bill. Be vigilant!

Really good ice cream, a ton of flavors and toppings and super nice staff. Not to mention the incredible cool location: a petrol station turned ice cream and coffee shop with veteran cars parked outside.

Very dissapointed. Both the internet and the sign out fron say that the the shop closes at 10 pm. Imagine the dissapointment on my kids faces when we showed up at 9 and the store was closed.
