I have been a long time customer of N&W Salvage. However, recently the manager or store owner followed me around the store commenting about my actions which were common yet inconsiderate I admit on my part (not returning unwanted items back where I got them) I certainly could have walked back around the store returning the item or given them to the clerk at check out- I must admit I was in a hurry, trying to calculate the things in my cart and wanted to focus on what I was going to buy. I did think it appropriate, very needed to share my perspective/reality and experience as a patron. Which were his actions to me were racial profiling by him following me around the store. He followed me so much he commented to me three times at a point I just handed the items to him I didnt want because I was his primary focus. He clearly was following me for three interactions. This middles age white male literally walked up into my personal space yelling, put his hands in my face telling me to shut up. Then after his threatening and very inappropriate behavior, as he walks away he physically assaults me hitting/slapping me on the arm either with his hand or with something in his hand. I am a black female why he felt it was ok for him to not only physically threaten me but also ok to put his hands on me in a violent unwanted way. I called the police to report the assault, he bans me from his stores as if I would return or if I was caught stealing something out of the store. I simply gave him unfavorable customer feedback, refused accept his bulling asking him to remove his hands from my face and to stop telling me to shut up but also made it clear it wasnt ok for him to put his hands on me. I have filed the appropriate documents for his crime however, as a consumer must likewise inform the public

This is a SALVAGE Store! I find good deals here at times. Some foods are out of date. But some foods arent out of date. Some foods I have bought are stale and some foods I have bought arent stale. If you know what youre looking for and know which foods are still good after sale dates youll be fine. Know your products! This is a SALVAGE STORE! So some foods containers are squished. I will probably not buy fabric softener here again because it gummed up my brand new expensive washing machine. I think that company may have recalled the fabric softener. But N&W bought it at a salvage price and then turned and sold it to the public for a profit. Either not knowing or not caring If the product was defective or not. Plus I think sometimes they sell food that has been recalled or been recalled from the companies for certain issues maybe not so much as in a contamination but maybe other quality concerns from the manufacturer. So you have to be careful shopping here but you can find some deals from time to time. To shop here you must be willing to take the chance/gamble. Everything sold as is and there is no refunds here at the store. Wayne the manager could be a little more nicer ,more interactive and social with the customers. He seems to have somewhat of a chip on his shoulder. Remember your customers are what pays your bills! Be good to your customers!!!

Poor organization, cleanliness, and overall unprofessional appearance show that this is the type of old community staple that has simply been around too long. The employees were not outstanding, though certainly not impolite. The selection of items appears to be staggered. If looking for anything specific, this is not the place to shop. Pricing was more than generous, however, and if you are only perusing youre likely to find something you didnt know you wanted.

Great place to go to find a variety of things. All the staff was polite and we didnt have any issues. However, keep in mind the type of place when buying food. They had a lot of expired things (still okay to eat, just not my preference). If thats your thing, their prices cant be beat. We got a soft shotgun case for $15 and various food things and our total wasnt much over $30. Definitely a place worthy of a stop. We will be back next time were in town!

Amazing, because of a negative review the owner of N&W Salvage called me and offered to do whatever he needed to do to make my complaint right. I had been overcharged and the manager was rude and not willing to help. The owner was not happy with my review, acknowledged my frustration and said hed do what was needed to make it right. I appreciate and accept the apology and hope this was a lesson learned-that employees need to be reminded to be polite!

Its a salvage store, not Target, keep that in mind when going! I expect it to be a bit disorganized, Im going for the great prices they have, not to check out how clean and organized the place is. If you want to save A LOT of money on various products, its worth the stop. Ive never felt racially profiled or ever had any worker be rude to me, but, I guess sometimes you get what you give!

When i went things looked unorganized and unstalked, but it is a great place to go. My mum has been to a salvage place before, and she said this place is a whole lot better. i guess she was expecting dented cans and what not, but nothing was dented it was all in good shape. i even found a high end conditioner for half the price that originally sold at Macys.

You will be surprised. Always something different. You wouldnt expect to find gluten free choices but they have them. Its sort of what ever fell off the truck. If you like finding a deal and are ok looking then you will have fun.

If you need something random, they have a ton of that there for you, and its at a bargain you wont find anywhere else. But thats also why this place is falling apart.

Great place to buy in bulk but pay attention to expired dates. Some food had been bad due to being too old.
