About half of the vendor space is now public self storage. Arrived at about 9:15am on a Sunday. There was one other customer there. Only about half the vendors were open. No outside vendors present (October). Didnt see anything really interesting. Lamp vendor: touch base and light turns off. Old newspapers. VHS tapes. DVDs. Bird Houses. Womens clothes vendor. Vendor that sells TY stuffed animals. Lotion and bubble bath. I saw an old bicycle stored above a booth...maybe they have some old childrens toys? One vendor had four rabbits for sale. Bear collectible knick knacks. Restaurant inside. There seems to be maybe 50 vendors with 10 x 5 booths. I was there to meet the one employee (this business has one employee.) who is the manager who I think owns the place who is nearly never there during office hours and was not there when i arrived. I was trying to rent space. And when i finally talked to her about three hours later when she called me back after i left her a note on the office door, i discovered that she was absolutely the kind of person you dont want to do business with. Really the worst experience. Basically, it is obvious that she doesnt need or want new business. Or maybe she is just too busy with other things to give her attention to her business. Or maybe everything else in her life is more important. Who knows? Maybe this is why this bazaar has shrunk in size to only a fraction of what it once was and much of the vendor space is now public storage. The only good reviews below are from vendors and family/friends of the vendors.

I love the Virginia Bazaar! I have been a vendor here for over 10 years and can honestly say that the management, fellow vendors, and customers are wonderful people that I enjoy spending time with. I have been to many flea markets in Virginia and Maryland, and this is one of the cleanest, well maintained that Ive been in. There are lots of unique and hard to find items here. Its a great place to shop. Regarding Mr. McNeeleys comments, I was his neighbor on 2 different occasions and know that he might have been more successful if he had bothered to be open during market hours, instead of leaving early every day to watch football. The manager wasnt angry that he left...she just didnt want to be responsible for the items he didnt take with him. Who leaves a place of business and expects free storage for their items until they can be picked up several weeks later. Now that would be unreasonable.

I was a vendor until recently. The manager and her husband found out I was leaving, so they imposed a storage fee for four pieces of merchandise I could not pick up due to the 24" snowfall. The manager would not even talk to me she was so mad. This was a petty thing to do, they forget the over 2,000 in rental income they derived from me. I have never been treated so badly in over 40 years of doing business. This flea market is going downhill and she, the manager, is losing more than just me as a renter-others are following. You just cannot treat people this way.

The Virginia Bazaar is my favorite flea market There are many treasurers to be found outside. Most items inside are new. In addition to a lovely book store there are new name brand shoes great prices next to the food court. There is a new food vendor with the best fresh fish and smothered pork chops you will ever eat. Ice cream, jellies, fabric, furniture, coins, sports memorabilia, Magnifiers, hobby tools, knives, HAPPY VENDORS and so much more. The bazaar is clean and hallways are wide. The vendor booths are clean. The best flea market around.

I recently visited The Virginia Bazaar and I have nothing good to say about it. They have nothing to offer just a bunch of junk in my opinion. That was not the worst part of my trip, my family experienced the worst service ever possible. The lady we talked to was so rude and had the worst attitude and actually argued with us! If that is how they treat their guests, then no wonder there was no one there! In my honest opinion, they should shut this place down, everyone that was there (working wise) had their head up their you-know-what. Unbelievable.

Theres almost no reason to go. Its mostly junk vendors outside and a few inside aswell. There is however a pretty good book shop with very nice prices, and if you walk by the collector toy shop the lady there will leer at you follow you around the entire building, thats their security I guess. I honestly dont think this place will be open much longer, it really needs to change if they hope to stay in business. More vendors would be nice as only half of the building is occupied.

The lady that owns the "stuffed animals" was absolutely the rudest person I have ever met. My children had picked out a toy that they were going to purchase and I was looking at another item for my other son. The women came out of another part of the store to tell my son to put the item down because she assumed he was going to throw it. Needless to say we put the item back and left the store. She had absolutely no reason to talk to myself nor children the way she did.

well, if you are going to set up at this market, YOU better make sure you have your TAX ID#, and also you gotta have a PERMITT to sell here. Which I think is stupid considering they are the only ones in the state of Virginia to ask for all this stuff. And the property is not the best of eye appeal either.

I used to visit this indoor swap meet several times a year, but this is my first time back in a couple years. Sadly it has lost many vendors and seemed only a third the size it once was. There were very few people wandering around and not much enthusiasm for selling anywhere.

Terrible Experience with the place, signs said open, but it was a deserted building that had only 1/2 of the spaces open, with very few outside vendors. I cannot believe I got off 95 for this, I dont understand how they are still in business.

Many nice items but some not so appealing. Some owners were rude and avoided speaking to my husband and I but it is okay. They lost out on making money. I was always curious about this place now that I have been I will not be going back.

Warm indoors and well ventilated outdoors and clean. Great place for the family. Not too many vendors but the 30+ vendors here make the trip worthwhile. Lots of great Christmas gift ideas.

The management team for the place is working with the best they have. It is a good place to bargain hunt. The amount of vendors vary.

I have never been so horribly treated in my entire life, "VA Bazaar Hates Veterans". The roaches that run this place are revolting!

Dont waste your time. Most vendor spots are empty, the few present are mostly old no name paperback romance books and old Avon.
