pls be cautious when you order meat cutting over phone or in person. They will rip you off!. here is my story ... I ordered 2 pounds of ground lamb over the phone. When i arrived, they promptly handed over the bag with price sticker stating as 2 lb. The look & weight seemed a bit off, so I asked the lady at the counter(who took my order) to weigh again, which she promptly replied saying 2lb. She dint realize that i can also view the weight which was 1.46lb!! so, i took it back to the cutting station. They replied that the weight is reduced because the grinding machine and fat removed was the reason. So, i lost more than half a pound (.54lb) bcoz of machine & fat!!! Well, being an optimist, i asked them to grind 1 lb meat while i was there. GUESS WHAT!! this time i got .94 lb out of 1 lb. The machine dint eat up half lb as they said. Now the owner walks in & gives all lame excuses that this is how it always is (but did not happen when i was there ). I asked him to price me for the 1.46lb only & not 2 lb which he refused & offered to take of $2 from the bill. I wanted to get out of there so i said whatever & left. Now, the lady who took my order tried to put $17.00 extra & apologized that it was a mistake when I pointed it out. tl:dr: Overall, I felt they all know about this and have been doing it for a long time for orders over phone & it is a coordinated scam. Careful with these people!! i am a regular customer & is never giving them my business again & also informed everyone i knew about this scam.

I love halal food because they treat the animals better then Western slaughterhouses. I was on my way to visit my family yesterday and passed by the sign. I saw they had a restaurant and I had to try it. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries to go. The young lady who took my order was very polite and well mannered. She seemed surprised that a westerner, such as myself, had heard of halal food. When I payed for my order she told me that they had their own farm where the animals were slaughtered. She gave me a card and said I was welcome to visit their farm. Im tempted to take her up on her offer, especially after tasting the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was very fresh and the vegetables on the cheeseburger tasted like they came out of their garden. I will definitively go back when Im in town again. Great service and great people. Totally different attitude from every halal store Ive visited

It has very fresh and cheap beef, chicken, lamb, goat meet and various sea fish. good quality Asian rice and some produces are also available. There are not much vegetables available there.

Place is well maintained. But feel the meat is pricy. Also the goat meat was very hard, may be its just that particular batch. As i am new to Richmond area, still trying to find other store.

3 stop shop. entrance - grocery store mostly Indian items, middle - eatery Indian cuisines like biryani, back - meat shop, they will chop the fresh meat on your desired slices. visit them!

These 3 stars are only for the meat section. They have a lot of expired stuff in their inventory. Make sure you check the expiration date before buying anything.
