Applied for financing at the store and was told that I was approved for and amount way over what the purchase that I was actually looking to buy days ahead of shopping at the store because I dont have much time off from work and wanted to make sure things were done in advance. I was shopping for a captains bed for my son and afternoon in March 2016 and went into the store two hours before close when I had gotten off work. I was greeted by a salesman named StClair who was extremely helpful and nice. But the issue came when I decided to buy the bed that was on sale at a good price. I picked out the bed and MR StClair wrote up the ticket on the bed and had to fax it over to the valley view office to get processed by a woman named (Julia) Not sure if thats spelled right. But anyhow I waited and waited and waited and by this time the warehouse had closed so I couldnt take the bed home. Come to find out from Julia that their so called financing was through a third party and she told me three different figures on the bed that was on sale at 20 percent off. The bed was originally only a little over 500 and it was 20 percent off that and she had given me prices of over a thousand dollars. And I keep asking her over the phone what is just the down payment and I just wanted to do the 90 day buy out. Julia replies we dont like for you to do that and that you need to consider getting one of our mattress pads because when you decide not to pay for it we won’t be able to resale the mattress. Buy this time I was frustrated with Julia because she didnt know her figures on the item to purchase and the down payment. She couldnt even give the salesman a straight answer. I had finally decided I was tired of fooling with her not knowing what she was doing. She couldnt even give me the cash price of the bed with the 20 percent discount and tax so I could decide if I would just pay cash or not and by that time after two hours of waiting, the store was getting ready to close. SO I JUST TOOK THE CASH MONEY AND WENT STRAIGHT TO 220 CHILDERNS FUNITURE MARKET WAREHOUSE WERE THEY WERE GLAD TO HELP ME WITHIN 10 min I GOT MY BED AND THEY LOADED IT UP FOR ME THAT SAME AFTERNOON. So this little incident for GRAND has caused them to lose that sale as well as my new patio set, oh and my new Bedroom. So Grand, You can think Julia for all the lost sales but you need to give the salesman a pat on the back for trying. They cant do their job if no one knows how to process their orders. So if you shop at Grand, they have a lot of nice stuff but if you have to deal with Julia Shop elsewhere or see if someone else can handle your transaction, because as long as she is there Im not shopping at GRAND.

Sales people were kind, helpful and informative. When trying to pay at the financing desk with my husbands and my line of credit, I was told I wasnt on the account and he would have to come sign for the purchase. I pushed back and advised I knew I was on the account. I was told I wasnt and I couldnt be added. My options were to have my husband come sign during his lunch, open my own line of credit or open a separate account with both our names. The next day my husband used his lunch to meet me at Grand to pay. I brought documentation showing I was on the account and I was added to the system. No apology for time wasted or providing misinformation. You get 2 stars for sales people but the rest of your store is awful.

Ive purchased loyally from Grand Home Furnishings for years! However Im never purchasing from them again because of the warranty protection company Guardsman! Guardsman is a joke they send out a third party to clean my childs mattress which has the mattress protector thats useless! The mattress never comes clean its urine stained however the technician lies to my face saying the stain is out and reports back to Guardsman as clean! So save your money since Grand Home Furnishings associates itself with Guardsman buy somewhere else! Check the Yelp reviews on Guardsman!

The prices are a bit high, but the salesmen, greeters, and all employees make you feel at home as much as possible, and try to accommodate to your every need, include needs other than just for furniture. Everyone I have met at Grand is always kind. My parents have purchased furniture there before several times, and if there is ever a problem, Grand tries their best to fix it. My parents have been shopping there for years now, and will probably be going back for more when the time comes.

I have bought several pieces of furniture here including a couch and 2 recliners, a dining room table and more recently a dresser and chest of drawers. I always find the sales people friendly and helpful and will be completing my bedroom suit as soon as I can.

The main draw for this store is its size and inventory. Helpful and eager salespeople make themselves available. Finding a style you like at Grand should be easy. As you might expect from a specialty furniture store, though, prices are relatively high.

I was overall disappointed! After purchasing multiple items, they were not ready when it decided on. Then after we arrive to pick up all of it wasnt ordered correctly, so I had to wait till the following week to get the rest.
