BUYER BEWARE!!! Even one star is too good for Ethan Allen, unfortunately you cant give them a zero star review. I placed a major furniture order in early September and when I received the first part of my order, thirteen pieces in all, EVERY single item was either incorrect, damaged or dirty. However, that wasnt the worst part, that came next once I started dealing with their customer service department. It started when no one from this store called me back when the incorrect dining table was delivered. I had to continue to call and leave messages for someone to finally come out and look at my furniture. I was horrified that my entire order was basically defective and of such poor quality that I requested a full refund. I soon found out that Ethan Allen will NEVER refund your money even if your funiture is: not in the finish you ordered, upholstered items arrive dirty covered in hand and finger prints, has chips and nicks in the finish, has a 2-inch gouge on a table top so rough that you can literally get splinters in your finger from touching it, dining chairs that do not match in height, shape or contour, or has a cabinet door that doesnt even close. Do yourself a favor, go to ARHAUS instead. They have a customer service department that values their customers and works to resolve issues quickly and without any inconvenience.

We purchased a set of leather couches from EA, very expensive. waited a month or two to receive them since they were being made. About two months after we had them , the 3 pillows on one couch started going flat and looking very bad. They are not even comfotable when you sit back on them!! Many times we fluffed them and did everything possible to try to get the fluffiness back. Then a few months later, same thing happened on the other couch. My husband called and spoke with Tony, our salesman who basically got smart with him and said you do have to fluff pillows! It was clear he did not care and was not going to do anything about it. We called cooperate and sent pics.. they contacted the store manager. She reached out to us and said they would have more pillows made. That was over 3 months ago and we have not heard anything since. These couches look 10 years old and we have not had them one year yet. I will never purchase from this company again!

This store is very unorganized and the designers do not tell you that delivery is scheduled "out of California" and may take up to two weeks after you are contacted. We purchased items on the floor in the Mt Pleasant store and really got the run around about their delivery process. Their designers lack sales experience to provide good information and their follow up with customers is not good either. We spoke with the Store Manager and suggested this is a "training issue" for their staff that should be addressed immediately. Our customer experience was much better at Southeastern Galleries (Charleston) which is another high end furniture store. Ethan Allen Corporate needs to understand that to serve the needs of customers in the Mt Pleasant/Daniel Island/Charleston SC areas, you need delivery to be handled out of the store in this area....not California. We wouldnt shop here again.

They dont return calls even though they send you a nice card after you order promising to give you monthly updates. Our order delivered approximately a month AFTER the outside edge of the window they promised. And when you order they dont tell you that the delivery truck comes up once a week from Savannah, and if you arent available for the one day in a week they actually come up here they put you off for an entire week. Go somewhere else and run, dont walk, if a "designer" named Terrie approaches you.
