I went there after I ordered food from a restaurant a few doors down. After leaving the treat shop with a sample of a warm glazed donut and a taste of the NC BBQ (that reminded me of Moms) I went back to order a sandwich and put the food from the other restaurant in the fridge. I returned the next morning for a dozen donuts to share with my co-workers, one of who stated that she may have me picking them up for her occasionally..The food was great as well as the customer service. I would definitely recommend them to others.

THIS PLACE IS NOT THE PLACE FOR A PERSON ON A DIET... I DONT CARE WHAT TYPE OF SELF CONTROL YOU HAVE ONCE YOU STEP FOOT IN HERE ITS LIKE A TASTE OF HEAVEN. THE EMPLOYEES ARE NICE A PATIENT AND THEY ARE OPEN 24 HOURS. WHICH SCREAMS LOOOVE TO ANY PREGNANT WOMEN. THEY HAVE FRIED OREOS & SNICKERS AND GREAT FUNNEL CAKES.. IF YOU LOVE DOUNUTS. THEY HAVE THOSE TOO. ( get the glazed twist)... I FOUND THIS GEM LESS THAN 24HRS AGO AND HAVE BEEN 3 TIMES ALREADY. ... Great job Treat Shop!!!

Today me and my girlfriend visited and had the most amazing experience that weve ever had in the local neighborhood. We were welcomed and greeted 1 minute before closing, she was closing up and grills were off!! But the owner Essie turned the grilled back on for our funnel cakes and services us!! The funnel cake was great just like those at the State Fair and Kings Dominion!! Great people, and good sweets!!!!! Must visit!!!

I had a dream about funnel cakes and woke up craving some. I searched on google to see if anyone around me had them. I was super stoked when I found out there was a place in south side open 24/7 and soo close to where I stay. The smell when you first walk in is breathtaking. I could easily devour the entire store. Will be back

This place is AMAZING! 24 hour treat shop, with amazing donuts and sandwiches. Service is great, the owner is often working the counter and just being an ideal business owner. Prices are also very competitive, making coming here a regular activity. Best donut shop in Richmond by far! Best kept secret on the south side.

My recent visit after reading the good reviews turned out to be a very positive experience! The NC barbecue sandwich was top-notch and the regular glazed donut was also some of the best I have tasted in a while. All was freshly prepared. I encourage all to give them a try because I know you wont be disappointed.

I HAVE TO TRAVEL 20+ MILES AND PAY 8.00 FOR SHORT ROUTE TO GET THERE AND BACK HOME BUT ITS WORTH EVERY BIT OF MY TIME AND MONEY. FOOD AND PRICE IS GREAT. THEY HAVE KNOCKED SUGAR SHACK AND COUNTRY STYLE OFF MY LIST. NEXT THEY NEED TO MAKE DOUGHNUT HOLES. HANDS UP TO THE TREAT SHOP RVA

Best donuts Ive ever had in my life! Their other sweets are to die for as well. The candy apples & funnel cakes were perfect. You can get all of your carnival food cravings here, they have everything from ice cream, to bbq, and pastries. I highly recommend this place!

The best doughnuts in Richmond! The powdered sugar raspberry filled are the best I have ever had, though all of their doughnuts are nothing short of superb! Huge selection served by a gracious and friendly staff. The Treat Shop is a real treasure!

Went by yesterday around 8:30 to drop some samples of my mini pies off.The A/C was off the hook. after out in the elements at La Plaza farmers market on Hull.....from 4:00 to 8:00 the air was a great relief.The new renovation is looking good.
