I went in this morning before work around 5 til 8 looking to send a package off. Originally I stopped by PakMail further down 21st, by they did not open until 0830. Assuming I would get equal service here, I went in. There were a couple people ahead of me, so I waited and watched this one guy on duty totally frazzled, struggling with one guy needing to send a package and another waiting to send a fax. 10 mins later he got to me. What I needed was one overnight envelope sent with a return envelope enclosed for the business to which I was sending it to return to me. Not to difficult I thought. Apparently I was wrong. What proceeded to happen next was the most astounding display of incompetence and poor customer service I have ever witnessed. He asked me for my home address. I told him I was not sending this to or returning it to my home address, I was returning it to my work. He claimed they needed my home address for their records. So I gave it to him, and handed him a print out of the addresses I needed it sent and returned to. I pointed these out explicitly. In the mean time the store phone was ringing and he ran back to answer it, totally abandoning our progress. He returns, and asked me where were we? He proceeded to screw up the mailing addresses printed out wrong packing slips and we had to start the process from the beginning. This time another customer comes in and asks to send something out, so he stops typing my addresses, completes her transaction comes back to me and is again interrupted by the phone. Comes back and screws up the addresses and a packing slip AGAIN. And then guess what? Phone rings. This time its his boss asking him why hes screwing the system up. Comes back. Leaves again to call his boss and ask a question. Finally we get it all straight and just as he hits the print button, the system "goes down." Thats the last straw for me. After over a half hour of this mess, I pick up my things and leave to go to work. How many times can you screw up and leave a customer for others in the middle of a transaction? My advice is to go to Pak Mail further East on 21st. These guys are always on top of things and friendly. Despite their hours being a little less convenient.

The manager at this location is the most disrespectful, condescending person I have dealt with affiliated with UPS to date. Typically, stores are prompt and kind when a paying customer asks questions regarding their packages however I cannot believe how frustrating and disrespectful I was treated. My issues are still not resolved and I have a package worth $100 missing. The manager claims she is there "all the time" and delusional in that she thinks she oversees all incoming and outgoing packages however it is common sense that no single manager can physically be all seeing/all knowing. Threaten to ask for her superior and she quickly changes her tune, however remains condescending and rude. I would rather drive an hour than ever have to deal with the manager at this location. I was practically in tear due to her inability to simply take a look around her store and see if my package was sitting in a place by accident (it hadnt been scanned and it was dropped off two weeks ago). What a disgrace she is to UPS.

I shipped a package last week to a customer via USPS at this location. I had originally planned to send it UPS, but the shipping cost was more than the product, so I opted for the less expensive USPS option of a little over $21, which was still more than the product but the best option. My customer received her package (2 days later than I was told) and the postage on the box indicated it was only $9.79! So, the store charges an extra 83% to send?? My customer was upset and thought I had over-charged her. I always assumed the store made a percentage of what it shipped, not more than doubled the actual cost of the shipping and without disclosing this information so that we, as consumers, can make an educated decision. The store is no more convenient for me than my local post office or UPS pick up for that matter and certainly not worth not only losing money, but losing my customers. I will NEVER use a UPS store again!!

WOW, poor customer service is an understatement... I came here to drop off a prepaid package, and the clerk never bothered to look up from shoveling food into her face to make eye contact. When I asked for a black pen to hash the barcodes, the only response was "Put it on the scale." Ok, but could I please have a pen? "Put it on the scale." Why do I need to put it on the scale first? "Put it on the scale." Fine... but a corner of the prepaid label is coming unglued - could I please have a piece of tape? "Tape it fifty cents." In this bad economy, when courteous, hardworking people are having trouble finding jobs, its obscene that these slobs are still getting paid. Thank goodness I didnt have a more complex request than dropping a box off at the counter.

The lady was extremely rude as I walked in to mail my package. I have mailed various items to a FPO address from there UPS stores in the area, including cigarettes. She saw the one carton of cigarettes and immediately told me I could not mail them. I tried to explain to her it is legal to send them to an APO, FPO, or DPO address as long as it is okay with the country it is going to. I even had the information pulled up on my phone. Instead of even listening to me speak, she cut me off and starts clapping her hands telling me Im breaking the law. Drove 20 minutes down the road to another UPS store who took great care of me and obviously knew their job. Will never visit this location again based off this ladys attitude.

Absolutely appalling customer service especially after they lost my package I attempted to contact the store multiple times and they told me they would call me back and of course I never received a callback. When I stopped in to the store all they told me was that they could try to call UPS again and that I should just "count it as a loss" after I paid them to mail my package home. Additionally they said they could reimburse me for my package as long as I had original receipts and proof it was in the package. I originally mailed off this package in May and it is now July. This UPS Store has left a horrible taste in my mouth and I will never be going to any UPS Store again.

Called ahead and asked if they did free notary public and the lady said yes and that they were open until 6:30pm. Told her I would see her this evening. When my husband I got there she proceeded to notarized our document without mention of a payment and then before walking said it would be $10. I could have gone to my bank tomorrow and had it done for free if they would have been forthcoming. Not to mention they were not very friendly in there. Will never go back!
