I cant say enough good things about this location and one of the employees. James is the most knowledgeable person I have ever encountered. He is always upbeat and seems to always be in a great mood. It appears that he just knows everything about cars and I have never seen him look anything up to answer my questions. Whatever I need or have a question about, he has the solution or answer. All of his suggestions have been spot on and I trust him to know exactly what my vehicle needs. Last night I found myself stuck on the side of the road with my young daughter in the car. My first call was to this location and I lucked out and James was working. It was just like he was right next to me looking at my car, he talked me through my problems with ease and got us up and running. Knowing that it was dark and late and that I had my child with me, James told me to call right back if anything else went wrong and even told me to call when I was home so they would know we made it correctly. I would travel to any of your locations to have him assist us and I tell everyone I can to stop in your store and see him with any car problems. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful employee working for you. These days, I dont encounter very many people who seem to love and enjoy what they do. Not only does James have experience and knowledge, he genuinely seems to love his line of work. He is the only person I trust my car to anymore. I stopped in to get a K&N recharger kit. I was surprised when it was cheaper than Amazon had it for. Then I saw they had an oil change deal for $10. This included an oil collection pan, a roll of shop towels, a small funnel, and a 14oz bottle of Gojo hand cleaner. When I added up all of these on Amazon it would have been $23.89 before shipping (1 was not a Prime item) and tax. Best yet, I couldnt locate the pan that was to be included in the deal, so an employee named Jonathan helped me out. When we were unsuccessful, he substituted a slightly better oil pan for the same cost. Very helpful and professional. I just had to give him and the store a shout out + to their good prices.

There are great helpful employees here like Jeb and James before he transferred to another location. This one employee Juan really sucks! With my luck hes working there most times I go in to get parts after work and my god this guy is extremely unhelpful and is always in a bad mood and the guy is really just a jerk. Because of this I shop at the Vienna location whenever I can (and its a bigger store so they usually have what I need in stock) and will seldom visit this location. Its almost always a bad experience at this location when this guy is here.

Juan is excellent. Ive had multiple useful encounters with him; the latest was last Saturday. I had a friend jump start my car (the battery wouldnt hold a charge) and I drove it over to Advanced Auto. Juan tested the battery and confirmed it was dead (a 3 year old cheap one from a big box store), and made recommendations. He installed the battery for free and I was off and running! The next morning I rolled my eyes when I saw I had accidentally left the interior light on. And yet, the car turn right over anyway. Excellent work Juan.

I first called this place. The brake light went out on my car and I needed to change it as soon as possible. I called them and a person answered my call. He was able to answer my questions and told me that the car I needed was in their stock. So I got out and head to the store. I was helped immediately. The salesperson quickly found what I needed and I was out of the store under five minutes. I replaced the brake lights right on the parking lot. It was extremely easy. I will be coming here more often now. Good experience

Nick Sheehan. The District manager. Watch out for this slime ball if you are trying to be employed or just shopping. Has no car experience. Have horrible people skills. Needs to go work at MacDonald’s, starbucks or enterprise. Will never earn my respect to work in a great place like Advance. Suzie Lea, the CAM (Commercial Account Manager) great. If you work at a shop around this stores area. You need to call her. Keep it rolling 2041. Will always be my number one.

Kevin was incredibly helpful and even fixed something that was wrong with my wiper that didnt have to do with the blades. He didnt try to up sell me on the best, but explained why it would be a good idea with my track record for terrible windshield wiper blade "accidents." I had an AMAZING experience that made my week. Ill definitely be back to this Advanced Auto Parts for all my sundry car part needs.

Enthusiastic pre-sale service offering free battery and alternator check. Bought new battery from them before Thanksgiving. Battery went completely dead after Christmas. Went back to them, they tested battery and repeatedly said that "battery is good" without wanting to discuss why battery was dead after a few weeks or offer to replace the bad battery. Do not go to them if you want after sale service.

Was traveling to DC from out of state when my tail light goes out. Didnt want to get stop on our labor day vacation so stopped in and bought replacement bulbs. Problem was I didnt have the proper ratchet/socket to remove the housing. Roy, at AAP, gracefully poured through his tools and found the proper size to remove and replace my light. That is customer service!

I was cycling near here and stopped in to see if they could help me raise me seat. Id borrowed a friends bike and the seat wasnt tightened enough, so it sunk down on me and it was painful to ride. The guy who helped me was so nice and patient. Such a life saver! I wouldnt have been able to finish my ride if not for their help.

My motorcycle battery died nearby - when the store battery starter didnt work Eric got his personal equipment from his car to help get it running again. Kudos to their staff for being helpful and friendly.

the new team there has no experience and the store just seems out of whack. went ALL the time 3 or 4 years ago and the team was great with i think his name was raul or something. too bad they all left.
