1. Looked at the work in the shop and thought Carrie did a great job based on her portfolio. Made an appt (deposit down) and left her with my ideas, but telling her I wanted her to come up with something based on the idea. No prob.-shell come up with something she said. 2. Went back for the appt. where she asked for copies of my ideas again (glad that she took the time to go over everything-Not!). Left no doubt, in a professional manner, that I was not happy with this. Made another appt. (That was clue #1). 3. Came to the next appt.- she was sick with vertigo or something although she was willing to try. Yeah right-made another appt. (clue #2). 4. returned and she had me waiting for a while as she apparently was on the shadow box tracing my ideas-great input there-Not! (clue #3) Although one portion of the tat was very basic, I let her start and listened to her tell me about her crazy thoughts-Great! Im thinking get that crazy mind on some good ideas for the rest of the tat. Finished part 1 and we were discussing part 2- I gave her my idea and asked for her input again - she just started with my idea! WTF! (clue #4) Put that crazy mind to work. I had to go at that time and I decided to go quickly. I could tell she was POd because I apparently did not leave enough time for her to finish the complete tat. Oh well. 5. My intention was to return and get the tat finished-made another appt. Paid for what was done and left another deposit. I never went back. I always try and give folks the benefit of the doubt, but i didnt realize I had "dumbass" written on my forehead. I never went back-eventually even the clues became obvious (I had doubts after the initial appt when she asked for the pics of my ideas again) to me. I do not recommend this shop. I do not recommend Carrie as a tattooist, although she seems to be nice. I went to Comes a Time (Johnny) and had the tat finished and was pleased with his input and ideas.

First things first this shop is beautiful. Although i was not the one that got work done, i was just as pleased as my girlfriend was. She had been looking for an artist that could replicate a tattoo that was previously done by another artist to finish her art dedicated to her parents. We had searched high and low for a nice clean welcoming shop, and Exposed Temptations was exactly that! We walked in on a Saturday morning with thought of just looking through some books to choose an artist and maybe set up an appt. The shop was pretty busy but the girl in the front made sure to greet us and ask if we needed anything. One of the things the other shops we had looked at failed to do. As we browsed through some books Patrick came over to us and asked what we were in for. Which completely sold myself and my girlfriend because usually we were the ones approaching the artists. Patrick made sure to listen to what she wanted done and even put in some of his ideas. Once they had agreed on the piece Patrick asked if she had wanted it done right then and there! He told us he specifically saved his Saturdays for walk-ins which we thought was pretty neat. He went about and drew something up. The tattoo itself took about 30 minutes, he made sure to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Making small talk and laughing along with us. He as an artist is incredible. Hes very precise and makes sure his work is absolutely perfect! (Which it was) Overall the experience in this shop was wonderful, people, art, and all. We will be going back at the end of July for another tattoo! This is definitely the shop i personally will be going to for my first tattoo! Patrick Squires is a hell of a guy. As i imagine the rest of them are! Oh, and for all of you assholes saying this shop is overpriced, you get what you pay for.

Ive been here before about a year ago to get a small angel wing tattooed on my left inner ankle. Aimee did it, she was quick on drawing up something original based off photos I showed her. She did a great job, shes a bit light handed but thats okay and she was quick, it was all lines and I was done within 5 minutes. A group of friends and I were walk ins and all got something done that day, they were very pleasant, shop is so clean, like you can kinda smell the cleaner. They have comfortable seating and have a bunch of portfolios out so you can view artists work while youre waiting. Today, I called to ask if their piercer was in, the phone was answered promptly and the receptionist is very nice and speaks clearly. She let me know he was there and if I was to walk in today to be there at least 30 minutes before closing and told me the price of my piercing ($80). My husband and I went in around 7 and were helped very quickly and Ian was the one who pierced me. Ian is such a great piercer, hes very professional, has a nice personality and is really good at making you feel comfortable. I got both of my nipples done and he never once made me feel uncomfortable. Some light joking, never inappropriate, and he talked me through the whole process while he was piercing. All jewelry was clean and sanitized and came out of brand new wrappers and was disposed of immediately afterward. He gave me a little pamphlet on aftercare and sent me on my way. Im very happy with my new piercings and would highly recommend him and the shop to anyone who asked me.

"When a scarecrow met ghost face." I went into the shop wanting a cover up for a light word. The artist wasnt open to any ideas, which should have been my first clue, I could sense that maybe he wasnt comfortable with the style I wanted. I was looking for something abstract. I gave ideas of abstract detailed filled ideas, something to work sound the lines of the words and he started out by saying/drawing random shapes on a flower petal. Seriously?! Im talking about circles and squiggles. My 7 year old draws better than that. He redid the drawing adding flowers and insured it would come out nice, and as he started I said that I did not want it to look normal and plain. Lo and behold I got a normal, crappy shaded tattoo for life! It looked nothing like what I had asked for. The flowers do not portray any sense of realism. The shading isnt in the right spots the petals dont fold correctly, I guess thats what you get when you say you dont want normal. (Drum cymbal sound.) The problem I have is that its nothing abstract. Its a plain tattoo. No heart in it. On one of the petals, from my point of view, it looks like a scarecrow had a baby with ghost face and I just got it tattooed on me. Ill try to post a pictures. Good luck

I got a piercing here in January and was very happy with my piercer. He was knowledgeable and helped me stay calm through the whole process. He talked me through everything he did which was great. I came back recently to get my first tattoo and wasnt happy at all. My tattoo artist never introduced himself. I even told him it was my first tattoo and he didnt talk to me about the process or walk me through what he was doing. When he was done he just motioned for us to leave and when I asked how to take care of it all he said was use unscented lotion. My friend who came with me has had multiple tattoos done at other places and was very shocked at how nonchalant he was to us. He seemed like he couldnt wait to be done and was not personal at all. The receptionist at the front desk was more helpful than him and actually gave me the tattoo care paper when I asked her how to take care of it. Wont be coming back here for another tattoo and wont be recommending it to others.
