Im new to the area as of 8 months ago, and I have not shopped at Giant Foods for a long time due to what I perceived to be higher prices. I stuck to Wegmans and Trader Joes for better selection, produce quality, and friendlier staff than my old nearby Giant. That said, Im very pleased with my experience so far at the John Milton Dr Giant. The staff, especially the stockers and butcher, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The produce is always good, although the organic selection is small and separated from the regular produce. I agree with another commenter that the bakery seems to be absudly loaded with junk options; I rarely visit it. I have also had no luck finding non-milk options for coffee creamer (like coconut or almond milk creamer). I find that a combination of using my bonus card and coupons from a variety of sources keeps the price well below Wegmans, but there are still a few overpriced items (Im looking at you, Sara Lee whole wheat bread at $3.49 a loaf) that I know I could get cheaper at Target or better quality for a similar price at Wegmans. The checkers are friendly and customer service is courteous; sometimes an additional checkout lane being open would really make a world of difference in the overall experience.

I only use the (snooty, full of arrogant, aggressive luxury-car drivers) Northpoint Village Giant when I need a very few items this more accessible, less stressful store has. Parkings much better at the John Milton store, and other customers are more polite. The produce section is excellent and features very fresh items. Let those obsessed with comparing their dizzyingly expensive handbags congregate and squawk at each other at the Northpoint emporium!

Pluses -Lots of parking -Surprisingly great organic food section Minuses -Deli aisle carries mostly unhealthy comfort foods and little healthy fair -Often only one aisle open -Produce aisle doesnt carry much organic fruit -Store (not Rx) are slow or dont to answer their phones when called

Selection is fine but cashiers have no idea what theyre doing. In addition I witnessed my cashier bullying an older woman as the cashier had forgotten to scan her coupons. Dont appreciate having to defend someone in a situation like that on a routine grocery shopping trip.

My only real complaint is that the milk generally has an expiration date of 2-5 days. Other local supermarkets like Trader Joes and Wegmans are 7-12 days. I can never buy all the milk I need for the week at giant and therefore I have to shop elsewhere.

I cant understand why the Franklin farm giant is a bigger store and has a better selection of items. I have been a loyal shopper to fox mill giant . But stores are very different.

The layout of this store is different than the other Giants. The employees are nice and friendly. The ice cream is on one side of the store and the milk on the other side.

Friendly staff. Had great experience with the florist. She created an excellent gift basket with the ingredients our host loved. A+ thank you.
