I wanted to purchase $300 American Express gift card for a family member that graduated from college. The store manager instructed the clerk that I was to pay using debit function on my debit card. I asked the store manager why I had to pay using debit. He just repeated that if I wanted to add $300 dollars to the gift card, it had to be done using the debit payment method. Having previously bought gift cards for even larger amounts from store 773, I have never encountered any circumstances or been told that I was to pay using debit function on my debit card. What was distinctively different in this occasion was that I was wearing a cap, shorts, sunglasses, and a soccer jersey. In most occasions, I go to the store directly from work wearing my business attire. I cannot put into words the humiliation, disrespect, and outrage I felt being a devoted Giant shopper for over 25 years. What became blatantly clear (via racial profiling) was that the store manager deemed that I may have been using stolen debit card. Thus, he felt the need to enforce the requirement that I (not other shoppers) use the debit payment method for purchases totaling $375 dollars. My advice, avoid this store if you want to be treated with dignity and respect.

Some of the Spanish office personnel. Are rude to other Spanish customers. . . . guess not if you are nit Birn in theur country you suck.... We have complain but the office. Person still there... Giant only care to make $$..... My sister, neighbors and I have been treated bad.... I have to go to NORTH POINT in Reston. If I need to shop wen I live behind the Herndon Giant!!!.. Alsi the Indian or middle east gentleman. Snells real bad cause he dies NOT use deodorant..... Guess We r liw income and giant wont lusten to our complains

Not that clean its ok they keep water outside in the sun for uv damage to work its magic on the bottle and put chemicals in the water people drink. some of managers dont care and will carry on conversations with the people that should be helping self check out and other problems in lines. they will just look right at you and not move cause the work is below them im guessing . Its not all of the managers just the ones dressed a little nicer not the ones dress in giant uniforms these people are helpful.

I like shopping here, food is fresh and reasonable. The only thing is that their workers seem to be intimidated by management. Management should be a little more understanding with its employees. Thats the only negative, but the place is the best for food, parking and all.

Store is usually pretty clean. The few interactions Ive actually had with staff members have been pleasant. Never extremely crowded and the checkout lines arent too bad. Sales tend to be pretty good.

Like other Giants arround the dmv it has some really nice nd helpful employes and some that can see you struggling with your stuff and wont bother to even ask you if they can help..

I shop here every week. Nicely laid out. Not too big. Usually easy to find what you are looking for. Produce section is pretty good, actually. No bakery but there is a deli counter.

This Giant has everything you need: A huge selection, friendly staff, and good prices. The only thing it is missing is perfect produce. The produce here is just OK.
