Shop at this location all the time until now. I also have applied for a overnight job here as part of an opportunity to allow my wife to be a stay at home mom. First, I shop here throughout the week and have been in this location dressed differently. I stop by sometimes after work at the bank and have experience the greetings throughout the store so well as more than helpful employees UT dont not go in this place with a pair of worn jeans and a star wars t-shirt on because our will literally have to go up to someoneight and stand in front of them to get assistance. Secondly, regarding my early statement pertaining to me applying for a position at this location I was able to get a face to face with them but they made me wait nearly 15mins after the designated time ever though I arrive 5mins early as well as during the process I felt confident have this since it was a part time job stocking shelves overnight with little to no customer interaction. Unfortunately fierce I was told 3 days at most to find out if I would or would not have the job it took me calling 4 different times and 6days to get a response they went with another candidate hat was better qualified than me. Now the problem is that I decided to see if this was me or them and reapplied the a location just down the road and sure enough was offered the job but for nearly 2 dollars less for the same position. I was offended knowing now it was just a personal choice with this location not a experienceday one. So be sure to not dress comfortable if shopping here you will be treated differently and careful about applying here as well. They decide off of personal preference rather than experience or qualifications pertaining of the position. If I have no other choice I will stop to pick up something but if I have to Food Lion is across the street and I get the same service there.

Edit: Not sure why it didnt post my reason before. This store is great, its really a marketplace and its not just a grocery store. Its a one-stop-shop and its not priced as bad as one would think. If youre going, check out Googles popular times because it can get crowded. Especially during snow days, haha. The staff is delightful, its close to being in Disney World rather than a marketplace. EVERYONE says hi, asks how youre doing, and asks if youre finding everything okay. They all say hi to one another and act more like a team rather than employees of a corporation. The store is well organized for the most part. Everything is placed where you would except it except for a few items that are split between the natural section and the regular aisles. Produce is typically well stocked and faced well, hardly ever picked over. I have noticed their organic kiwi section is almost always over ripe and less desired than one would except or want. Hint, hint. (Someone from the team send me a message when you put out fresh ones. (: ) The meat selection is pretty good as well, the bison just never goes on sale, sad life. If youre a beer lover or wine connoisseur then the selection they have to offer you is decent. But, cheeseheads rejoice- the cheese kiosk is pretty well stocked and diverse. Cant speak too much for the pharmacy, its a pharmacy and has everything you might need. The clothes section and jewelry store never get a chance from me, mostly because I dont need anything from them. But, Im sure some of you do. I hope you find some help from my review, thanks for reading. Kroger, keep up the amazing atmosphere! #ScottMcNuttReviewsRVA

I think I have finally had enough. I used to prefer this store because it is generally clean and well stocked. However, the last two times I have shopped here I have run into trouble while checking out. The first time I was shopping with someone else and we got into two line. The cashier wrangler (the one who directs people into the lines) forced my shopping partner out of his line and into my line. He refused several times, but the woman insisted he moved. Yesterday took the cake! I went into a regular line to check out and the cashier wrangler directed me into the shorter express lane (despite my very full cart). Then the cashier proceeded to inform me that I was in an express lane. I informed her that I knew it was express, but that the employee had directed me to this lane. Frankly, DONT TELL ME! I AM THE CUSTOMER. The WHOLE customer service experience was bad. -From the employee who directed me into the express line (to be shamed by customers and the cashier) to the cashier chastising me for being in the lane. Then the cashier rang up my coupons incorrectly and complained about the coupons. This is why online shopping is going to destroy retail- no one wants to deal with these unfriendly employees. Goodbye Kroger. There are too many other grocery stores.

If youre expecting good quality customer service, dont go here. While they do have good employees, there are not enough of them to make up for the bad ones. Their customer service has been slowing going down for the last 6 to 8 months. I was holding out hoping that, since Publix was coming to the area, that would have been an incentive for them to work on this. Apparently, that is not the case. Their Fuel Rewards program is not worth having to deal with this. Unless I have no choice, I will not be going back to this location in the future.

I have been shopping at this Kroger since it opened. The employees are helpful, friendly and always provide great service. Recently Kroger switched from plastic containers for the salad bar and deli items to cardboard boxes that do NOT keep food fresh. In addition, you cannot seal the container so that it doesnt spill. I have spoken directly with their staff who do not like this change and I also voiced by dissatisfaction to the stores assistant manager. Until they revert back to the plastic containers for food, I will shop at a competitor.

Every time I go to a Krogers location, doesnt matter where, I have a HORRIBLE experience. There are so many racist Caucasian people in Krogers its just not worth spending the money. Ive even had a lady remove all of my things of the counter, even though I had the divider between our things, off because she didnt want a black person things with hers. She actually touched my grocery and started taking them off. The prices are always good but the people and experience trumps any price they may have. Never again!!!

Terrible customer service , waited for a manager to file complaint then once file all I got was we will look into it with no apparent concern for my problem. Produce dept great. Called for bakery this week and waited for over 7 min to get someone on the line and then the person acted like it was a problem to help me order a cake. She did not like her job that is for sure. Think I will try Food lion across the street after this.

Ok so I buy the previous packed veggies in the produce section and am really shocked at the new size of these portions. The old ones came in a plastic resealable box 24 Oz for 499. Now they come on a foam back at the same price for 11.5 Oz. This is not good business. I wont buy my produce from here Id rather go else where now if im paying the same price for half the amount.
