Bought a bed at Sears. Buying the bed was the easy part. However, we went through a bed exchange process, which became the worst possible situation. Sears Home Delivery would schedule a dropoff time, but never show and never call. We went through this process three times!! The third time, they showed up with the wrong order. Our ticket had the correct order, but Sears Home Delivery wouldnt acknowledge our receipt. The Sales Associates at Sears are great, but they cannot help you because of the inter-department system that is in place. Sears Home Delivery, Sears Processing, and Sears Mattress Exchange (three departments I had to speak with) never apologized, nor gave me a discount for errors that were the fault of Sears. Managers were not helpful either. Sorry Sears. 25 hours of my time for your errors, and you wouldnt even give me a discount?

I spent almost $200 there because they said I would get $60 or more back in "points". When I went to use the points on the website (before the expiration date on the receipt) it sad "Expiration Dates May Vary" You have $5 in points. Also, I waited in line for ages behind this other poor guy who was being interrogated for 15 minutes because he had also made the horrible mistake of answering yes to "do you want points back for free stuff"

Went in to purchase shop vac filters which were advertised online for $9.99. They were priced $17.99 in the store, and the store refused to price match their own website! I literally had to order them online in the store and pick the up 20 minutes later in the store! Ridiculous! Ill be purchasing a shop vac from Lowes so that I never have to purchase Craftsman filters from Sears or any of its affiliates again.

I cant wait til the day comes when I hear the news that this store is closing. Use to work at this place years ago and every employee in the auto department did dishonest sales to the customers and would backstab coworkers every chance they got. Do not bring your car here! They will tell you that you need new tires, batterys, alignment and so on all to help fill there own pockets.

We purchased a dishwasher from Sears (In Charlottesville, Virginia) less than a year ago. It stopped working, they sent out a technician, he claimed to have fixed it and it is still not working. We are on the phone with them now, trying to get the technician back out here and are having a horrible experience. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM SEARS!

No one answers the phone. I want to patronize Sears but the last 3 big ticket item purchases I have shopped around for I have had to go elsewhere due to no one answering the phone. This is over the course of 2 years so it has not been a short term problem.

Terrible service. Tried to charge me $300 to repair a used $190 lawnmower. Claimed I had authorized the service and refused to return my item. Could never get a live person. Finally had to call the 1-800 number just to get help.
