Ive been going to The Nerd Store for about two years now. I was new to buying comic books at the time (most of my reading had been done on a loan from friends or in the local library). One big reason for that is there werent any stores close enough to practically go to until The Nerd Store opened up in the Valley Fair Mall. When I started going, the store was still getting its bearings in terms of selection (still big enough for a new collector like I was at the time) and organization goes but was great as far as having an approachable, friendly, and helpful staff (far better than any other comic book store Ive been to). Flash forward to today, the store still has a staff as good -or even better- as it had two years ago and have much improved on efficiency, organization, prices, and selection. This store isnt just great but keeps on getting better. That, along with its very accessible location, makes The Nerd Store 5 stars in my book!

Took in a card to sell to them and was told a whole lot of junk about why they were only giving me 14 dollars for a 60 dollar card.I understand its a business and you need to make money and I know the card I was selling is in high demand to players. So it would have been sold fast. I was expecting 25 at the least thats still more then enough for the store to have a profit. As I was talking to the employee he told me that card prices fluctuate my response " the card has been at the 60 dollar Mark for a year now." Complete rip off. If youre there to buy awesome place but sell wise forget it might as well give them everything you have along with what you sell.

I like the selection and the store although their prices for the items I am interested in are generally higher priced than what I could find online. The employees definately make me feel uncomfortable while I am shopping, I shop here regularly and it always seems like they assume you are shoplifting. Also ive had issues with them charging my card incorrectly and waiting in line for extended periods of time. It may be wise to pay with cash here if its an option. Also employees "hold" the good stock for themselves so it detracts from desirable cards availability.

Favorite place to go find Funko POP! Heads ! Been collecting them for a while and I always go here first just for the fact that they got so many of them to choose from , really good vibe from the staff and there always so cool about helping you out on finding something , not to mention there hospitality and patience! #GoodVibe

Employees are helpful and friendly. This place always has what Im looking for. Youre going to pay a bit more because of the on demand factor, but prices arent that much higher for most items. Great selection of new comics as well as collected editions. Excellent choice of collectibles, t-shirts, cards and other accessories.

it was a pretty cool comic shop but late time i went with my cousin we got treated to get kicked out because we said goku (from the dragonball universe) would beat ichigo (from the bleach universe) the worker got pretty rude after that but other than that moment the workers are nice and helpful

I have never been into a store like this in my entire life. It was my first time in the store and I could see myself coming back. They have everything I would want for a nerd as myself. Comics to Manga, MTG to new card games they have it all. If I had the choice I would want to work there!

Great service. If they dont have what I am looking for they order it in! When my husband went looking for a Christmas gift the owner helped us find a great Batman statue that was in our budget. They carry cards, comics and novalty items. I love my Doctor Who belt clip which holds my keys!

I walked in and the guy at the counter was talking to his friend the whole time. I was waiting at the register for 5 minutes waiting to buy something. Even when he decided to ring up my purchase he was still just talking to his friend. This was at the Valley Fair Mall location.

I love this place, I play magic there every Friday. Great staff, everyone there is really helpful and friendly. They even helped me get back into to comic books. I recommend this place to everyone, love there Tooele shop too. You just cant go wrong with these guys

best comic shop in Utah. They have everything you could want and if they dont they will order it and get it in for you. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. As a long time reader of comics, this is the ONLY place I will go for all things nerd culture.

Pretty wide selection of newer and older comics, models, and plenty of other nerdy items for you to spend your money on. Staff is friendly and helpful at times, although the store is organized in a way so you can pretty much find everything yourself.
