Mountain West Eyecare is very efficient and professional. They treat everyone that comes through the door with respect and do their best to help in any situation. I have purchased eyeglasses and sunglasses from them for several years now and have been very satisfied with all of my products. The quality is great and the only reason I continue to buy new frames is to use up my benefits, not because I need to replace frames that are in bad condition. They have also been very accommodating when I have needed to come in for adjustments or screw replacements in any of my frames purchased from them.

Went in for a routine eye exam. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant as was the doctor himself. However, when it came to the sales reps for the frames; I was met with nothing more than rudeness and blatant pushyness. I told her "no" on several options over and over and she would snicker and try to push again. no means no. I know how much I can or cannot afford or want to pay for glasses. When picking frames; I want to do so by myself which I asked to do but had her constantly loarding over me. Sad really. After such a pleasant experience I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Contact fitting incredibly over priced, $70.00 on the statement competitors charge $20.00. Then charged two co-pays one at $10 the other $25. Had to call my insurance company to make Mountain West understand the policy, to get the charge removed. Total out of pocket was $103 and change. Called to cancel an appointment, to change providers, and they did not release the authorization so that I could make a new appointment. Had to call and request it. Same insurance, same exam, different provider total out of pocket $31 and change.

Dr. Michael Brown is the best. He is very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions. My eyes are difficult due to my extremely bad vision but he was able to find contacts that were comfortable for me. I am highly satisfied with my contacts and the service that was provided. I received my contacts in a timely manner, pretty quickly actually. I was able to schedule follow-up appointments easily. The office staff is also friendly and helpful.

The eye exam was great. The doctor and the staff were really nice. THE FRAMES SALES LADY SUCKED!!! SHE HAD NO CLUE WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND WAS VERY RUDE. SHE MISLED US AND TRICKED US INTO BUYING GLASSES. SHE TOLD US IF WE DIDNT PURCHASE GLASSES OUR INSURANCE WOULD NOT COVER THE EXAM AND WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY $165 FOR THE EXAM INSTEAD OF THE REGULAR $10 COPAY. SHE FLAT OUT LIED. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

My first experience at Mountainwest Eyecare was an amazing experience. I was greeted by awesome staff the second I walked in the door. While sitting and waiting to be called back, Dr. Brown came into the waiting room and introduced himself to me. Everyone there has been so amazing to help with any questions I have had. They really do care about their patients and want them to have the best experience there.

Muscle Reminder

I didnt have a very good experience with Dr Brown. I went in i waited in one of there rooms for 30 mins without no one coming in to check on me and then had to go out and get someone to service me and then it took 12 months to get my contact orders because of administrative errors. And some of the office personal seemed very rude sarcastically. Needless to say I wont be doing business them anymore.

Terrible, staff is inexperienced, everything is overpriced and the place stinks. Charged me for eye exam, scheduled another exam three days later charged me again at twice the amount. Hope my insurance can cover the charges. This place is a scam. Too many good out there. Please take my advice avoid this place.

I couldnt believe how patient and kind the entire staff was. Having to spend over 2 hours there to get all 5 of my kids exams and order 4 pair of glasses, they were so wonderful! I usually stress about appointments like this, but the entire staff was so understanding and kind to me and the kids.
