Im a Washington native, and just moved to Utah this month. Ive searched around to find someplace that made me feel like home and this is it. Atmosphere: totally laid back, you can chill or rush. Whatevs. The roasts are all incredibly well done - no burning beans for uniformity. Nice light roasts; great, well paired blends, extensive selections. Pricing is favorable - my coveted latte is a dollar cheaper than my regular stand back home and just as delicious. They definitely use high quality products and equipment to get you a smooth cup of coffee no matter what you order. Anecdote: Since exploring some other shops in the month Ive been here, Ive had to start ordering my latte with no foam. The owner looked at me like I was crazy when I specified no foam on my latte (which is apparently a thing here...who orders a latte for half a cup full of foam? What is that?) This was not only a funny conversation, but has proven to me they are into coffee for all the right reasons. I am a hidden peaks believer.

The very best decision I have ever made was switching from the "other" guys to my favorite guys at Hidden Peaks Roasters. I have a small coffee drive thru in Vernal and we get our share of travelers. I cannot tell you how many times a road weary traveler has hit our coffee shop on the way through town and actually left and turned around to come back and tell us how many coffee shops and states they have traveled only to find that elusive amazing nector of the gods, at a little drive thru in the little country town of Vernal Utah. Best best best coffee around. Freshly roasted, ground and brewed. I like my coffee straight, no flavors, no whipped cream, no sprinkles, so the actual flavor of the coffee is very important. This coffee gives me joy. I buy the freshly ground stuff weekly to take home too. The new decor is lovely, warm and welcoming. The owner is usually present and the help is the best kind, obviously invested in the success of the enterprise. Tasty baked goods brought in from a local bakery and just the best damn coffee around. My complaint? Closed on Sundays and evenings. Booo! But hopefully summer time will bring longer hours.

This is my new favorite coffee place. The guy is super chill. He lets you sample the daily roasts. The vibe is pretty cool. There is a section of all the green coffee bean sacks which I think looks cool. You can tell that a lot of the regulars are the older crowd, but if I lived closer to this shop I would probably make it my regular place to visit. If you are in to brewing at home they sell beans and the price is really inexpensive..

I had only recently been starting to drink straight black coffee, but did not enjoy it until I finally tried Hidden Peaks. Now there is no going back to cream and sugar! They also have great prices for whole coffee beans. If youre a coffee aficionado, this is the place to go.

The staff is extremely welcoming and nice. The atmosphere is quite, relaxing and most importantly the coffee is superb. I moved to the area two months ago and Ive tried coffee from shops up and down the valley and this place is my all time favorite, hands down!
