If there were more stars to give I would have added them. Hi-Point really does have it going on! Everything they make is delicious. The cafe has a really warm inviting atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly. Doesnt have the usual franchise coffee shop feel where if you dont fit in with the clique you just feel a little out of place. Rather, they give more of a Hometown atmosphere that feels welcoming to anyone. So, for anyone that remembers Utah coffee shops before the corporate snobs. You will love this place. Not to mention everyone on the staff is really cool. They offer a small Cafe with table and chairs, a lounge with couches, which is really chill spot. Fireplace and everything. They even have a private conference room available for meetings and such. They host music and open mic that my neighbor enjoys. In fact, anytime the subject of Hi-Point coffee comes up I usually hear the same comment from everyone, "I love that place". So, thank you too the high point staff and owner for making such a great place!

In the land of free wifi, High Point Coffee on 7800 ROCKS. I usually get 10-20 Mbps when I test my connection; much better than the wireless internet at places like Barnes and Noble or the city libraries (.5-1.5 Mbps). So when my home internet is having a slow spell, I head here! As far as the rest of the place, they have a closed off room on the west-end which is nice if you want to get together with friends or meet and such. Seating is okay; mostly tables with a few plush chairs around the central fireplace. You often feel a bit awkward sitting so close to folks. The staff tends to stare at you endlessly while you think about what you want to order; Ive also noticed theyre incredibly friendly to a lot of folks that come in- the "regulars," I presume.

I really like their coffee and the staff is so nice! Its great to go into a place and they remember my name! I dont always care for the music and sometimes its too loud, but other times its great. Saturday night open mic night is a nice way to enjoy a cup of tea, listen to those who are following their dreams of making it in the music biz (depending on the musician & songs), and just relax. I love that they dont charge me extra if I want to order my own blend of a latte! Even my kids prefer their smooties or the blended non-coffee drinks over Beans n Brews or Starbucks! Need more of these around the valley. The area is kind of dumpy.

Friendly staff, quick and on their toes. They greet everyone when they come in the door which makes it a friendly atmosphere. I have enjoyed all their coffee and have had 4 different kinds both hot and cold. My only complaint about them is that out of the four times I have been there I have ordered a Danish twice. Each time I ordered it and asked for it to be heated up, I had to go back to the counter 10 minutes later to get it because they had forgotten about it. Both of these experiences have resulted in me not buying danishes in following visits because I dont want to have to return to the counter.

Really great service, good coffee, cozy interior. It appears more like a Starbucks type place than a small independent coffee shop when you first arrive due to the mall square location and drive through availability, but once inside you realise that these things have not compromised the quality of the coffee, service or atmosphere. Highly recommended.

High Point Coffee is definitely the only place I go to get coffee or tea. The people there are so genuine in everything they do. Theyre so nice, and they actually hold a conversation with me, which is an incredible quality to have. I go there at least 4 times a week and the atmosphere couldnt be any better.

I generally only use the drive through, but they make delicious strong coffee, they do it quickly, and are great at not making it too sweet when asked. Their prices are a bit steep compared to my regular place, but the convenience of not having to haul all my children inside makes up for that.

Beware. . . The ceramic coffee cups have cracks. I was served coffee in a cup that had a deep crack in the bottom of the cup. The bottom of the cup was dirty and ichy. Manager is not aware that germs and bacteria can lurk in the cracks of cups to cause customers to become ill.

Fantastic place! The entire staff is amazing! My fiancée and I stop in here multiple times a week just to chat and grab our favorite drinks (Just Like Reeses and Spunky Monkey). The atmosphere is great, the drinks are great, the staff is amazing, you all need to come here!

I attended a Saturday evening open mic that they hold (7-9pm), and it was great! The barista was helpful and informative, and they have lots of flavor options. The English toffee hot chocolate I ordered was ready surprisingly quicky and tasted wonderful!

Great place to hangout and chill with friends. The occasional live music adds depth of the shop. Coffee is awesome and if youre feeling adventurous, ask the baristas to make you something off the menu because those are always the best drinks.

Amazing environment with amazing people working there. I may be working right next door to the coffee shop but I would go out of my way to get a drink here. If you can, make this place a stop on your daily route. You wont regret it.

Wide variety of drinks, goodies, and lunch items. 2 out of 4 walls are glass, keeping the place well lit and with air conditioning that keeps the temperature nice all the time. Easy to get to and also close by a Vasa Fitness

Attended their Open Mic night which they have every Saturday night at 7pm. I enjoyed my stay. The coffee was hot, the service was good and they had a full night of free local live entertainment which was quite talented.

Most importantly, the espresso-based drinks at High Point are excellent. The atmosphere is relaxing and its a great place to hang out solo or with friends to chat. My Mormon friends love to come with and get a smoothie.
