Best value car in the valley and great follow-up service. We searched long and hard and looked at Prestmann and AutoSource and another branded car dealer. We are very, very pleased with Alico. And Eddie informed us that Alico is under his management within the last year and is indeed very different from the Aleco previous owner. More details below for those who care. In our experience, we shopped KSL and saw lots of cars. We test drove about 15 cars over 3 months - I know, we took a long time. We wanted to be thorough and this car was replacing one we had owned for 15 years. In the process, I learned some key tips to evaluate a branded/repaired car. 1. Take a flash light and shine down past the motor to the frame. Look for kinks in the metal, flaking paint or rust or welds. We chose not to buy a car that had frame damage. Also walk around the car and look for even gaps between the body fenders. A slight difference in gaps is a tell tale sign that the accident impact has skewed the frame or body in ways that havent been repaired. 2. Ask for details about which parts were damaged and repaired. We got specifics from Eddie and our mechanic even showed us the slight sun fade between the original paint and the new paint using the factory original color. You see Eddie didnt try to match the original paint but because it was such a new car, they just painted with the manufacturers paint. That was cool to see. 3. Beware of water damage to the underside electrical components of the car. 4. User your hand or a ruler to measure the gap between the tire and the fender. This will show you if there is a frame misalignment between the right and left side. 5. Take the time to drive your car to a mechanic you trust. We did and we are so grateful. Our mechanic used a 40-point inspection list to thoroughly review the car. Frankly on the first car we took him that wasnt from Alico, we immediately saw problems once the car was raised on their lift and ironically we didnt feel those problems in the way the car drove. Our experience - We took two cars to a mechanic for detailed assessments. The first car failed miserably as the dealer had done a whole lot of work that they hid from us. They said there was no damage to the frame and indeed there was as we saw from the underneath side of the car. Our mechanic showed us that the used parts they welded on to the frame were indeed aligned poorly creating a 1/2" larger gap between the right wheel and the fender frame compared to the left tire. After that we were quite nervous but the price savings was so compelling that we tip toed forward. We told Eddie about our experience and he reassured us of the exact damage and repairs that had been done on the car and he told us on each of his cars what damage was incurred as well as who fixed the car. In the end, we took Eddies car to Troy, a second mechanic right next to Alico and Troy was straight forward with us that Eddies guys do very good work. He did say that years ago when the previous owner began the business, Troy would often see missing clips and bolts or sloppy work but that now he sees OEM parts and solid work. I came to trust Troy as well as Dennis (the two mechanics we used) and we have owned the Outback we bought from Eddie for a month. In that time, Eddie has been super. We did find a window that needed calibration and a rear window fluid sprayer that wasnt working and we needed two extra sets of keys and Eddie has been so cooperative helping us to get these two items fixed and he even gave us his dealer pricing on the keys. All in all, we will buy from Eddie again. He saved us probably $10k compared to the same car without any damage. And he threw in a new set of car mats. We are very happy and hope other buyers will shop with eyes wide open. Ask lots of questions and Eddie will answer them.

I had a wonderful experience buying a car at Alico Auto. I purchased a 2014 Subaru Legacy. The sales person was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the rebuilt title. They had no problem in letting me test drive the car, and take it to Nate Wade Subaru in order to have it looked at. After a full hour inspection Nate Wade said the car checked out just fine. I was so relived hearing this, especially considering the great deal I got on this car. I was looking for a few months, and almost gave up looking for a 14 legacy because everything I found was out of my budget. Price wise Alico Auto cant be beat as they provide the some of the best deals in the state. In the future I will definitely look into purchasing another car from them, and will recommend them to my family and friends.

My son bought a car with rebuilt title. Car looked and ran great for two weeks. Lower radiator hose blew off and overheated engine to the point of ruining it. They wont help him because it was sold with as is warranty. Failure happened because of there shoddy workmanship the hose clamp was never properly secured. I am a professional mechanic the car is in my shop so I can put a new engine in. In all my years I have always backed up my work. This place does not shoddy people indeed and shoddy work. Stay away at all cost. If I could afford a lawyer I would take this place to court. No help at all they could at least cover parts.

They didnt know anything about their cars. I had to buy my own car fax. It had a couple accidents that I thought were minor, which the sales people didnt tell me about. They kept saying it was in excellent condition. Had it checked out by a mechanic, who recommended I walk away. So I invested $110 of my own money to find out things they should already know. I ended up walking away, but if you are going to buy from them, expect a ghetto feel from people that dont know much about cars. Its true you might win big and buy a car in good condition, but I recommend you dont waste your time, or in my case, money.

I went into Alico Auto expecting the same usual car buying experience and I was pleasantly surprised when it wasnt that way. Eddy was great and accommodating to what I was interested in and looking for. He made a few suggestions and ended up getting in a newer more well equipped car then I thought I was able to get into. I was in and out within 2 hrs start to finish and couldnt be happier with my experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer and send anyone who is looking for a quality used car his way. Thanks for an awesome experience and friendly staff!!! Was a nice non pressure car dealership.

I recently purchased a Bmw X5 from Alico and was very impressed with there workmanship and honesty. I looked around at many other dealerships with branded title suvs and my mechanic lead me away from a couple cars. My mechanic said the X5 from Alico was done very professionally. The owner was very helpful and honest with the repairs done to my X5. I have owned it for just over six months and it has been great to me! I even wanted some winter mats for it recently and they got them for me at a dealer price. I would highly recommend them.
