It makes me sad to give this a poor review but this location just isnt what it once was. I grew up shopping at this SuperTarget and have always loved every last thing about this location. Been away for a few years and just made it back only to find that its not even close to the store I once knew and in the worst possible way. The most irritating thing of all is how they now use these horrible target basket looking pallets right in the middle of the main grocery isle just like walmart does, which is one of the biggest things that I always appreciated that Target did differently, the clean and wide open isles with no clutter was worth paying a little more. Most of the things I was looking for they either did not not carry or were out of stock, like really? The entire layout of the store is awful too. Target had perfected their layout when they first built these SuperTarget locations in the late 90s, there was no need to shuffle everything around in the remodel. Ugh, and that horrible remodel. The color worlds with neon signs made everything so easy to find, I know the all red style is how all target stores now but the color lands in a SuperTarget especially made shopping easier. They also removed half of the registers in the remodel going from 32 checklanes to 16. Not that they ever used them all anyway but on a busy weekend when they had 10-15 lanes open, it sure made life easier checking out because they were spaced out across the front so you had room to move. To just really top off this crappy visit, the guy at self checkout was a complete ass. I basically had a conversation with myself because he literally did not say a single word to me. Just to add insult to injury, several prices were ringing up wrong from what they were marked on the floor. A few cents or a few bucks usually isnt that big of a deal but you expect a national chain like this to be more on top of that. Heading out I realize the bank and portrait studio are gone too. Its just sad to see a store that was once the greatest around become what it is today. Yeah it just got a remodel but if theres no heart and soul then youre just giving a face-lift to hollow bricks. Thank goodness for competition so there are other stores to fill the void left by SuperTarget.

The only reason I keep shopping here is because they have the cheapest organic products that Ive found....unless anyone has any other suggestions. I cant even get a hold of this Target; their line "has reached an error". A few days ago was one of the hardest mornings Ive had in a long time. My kids were being pretty good all morning; just a handful, but I was so stressed out by the time I got to the cashier. And then I realized I made the mistake of getting into an express lane with a cart full of stuff that I had half way unloaded onto the conveyer belt. The cashier who didnt have any customers in front of me or behind me, had watched me put all these things on before telling me I was in the wrong lane and refused to ring me up. Of course it was my fault I got in the express lane, but I was pretty upset at that point and upset that she wouldnt help a pregnant woman who had just unloaded half of her cart; even when there were no customers in line or even very many in the store and my kids were whining to get home. Ive seen the same cashier since then and she is rude to customers sometimes. This isnt the first bad experience Ive had with Target. I would also suggest never registering here for your wedding or baby shower. They have terrible customer service and are very picky about what you return even with a receipt. Not sure if thats the staffs fault or if thats just their general policy.

Im not one to be negative about stores, but the experience my husband and I had tonight was hideous. Weve been saving for a new dslr camera, and since its a big purchase ($500+) we wanted to make sure we understood everything. The employee that came to help us after we pushed the call button was so rude to us. He was very condescending, and did not give us the correct information about the cameras weve gotten at the other stores weve been looking at. When we asked about a newer model of a canon he said the only difference was a "$200 crappy touch screen". I wish I were kidding. We did buy the camera based on the previous research we had done, however when we walked back to the car we both felt that we needed to take our business elsewhere so we went right back in and returned it. Again, not one to leave negative reviews, but Target, your employee just cost you $500. It may not be much in the grand scheme, but hopefully someone else will appreciate it more.

I am always impressed with the customer service I am provided with when I visit the Orem Target location. Just the other day I stopped by the Orem Target to check out a crib that is not available online and specifically wanted to see the color, they did not have it on the floor so one of the staff willingly went to the back and brought it out for me so I could see the color. She offered to put it on hold for me while I decided if I was going to purchase it. The next day when I went to pick up the crib the staff assisted me in loading it into my vehicle, and also went above and beyond in helping me locate a stroller/carseat combo that I have been looking for and provided me with the other Target locations that I could find it at. I have never had a bad Target experience and appreciate the products and service that they provide.

When I first discovered this place, I liked it. Like a fancy, red Walmart. Their Red Card allows a 5% off entire transaction whenever you buy there using it, which is nice. BUT... the food is almost ALWAYS fully expired or very near expiration. Ive had to toss plenty of items I bought there upon opening them a day later or so. They will keep expired yogurt on the shelves a whole month past the expiration date. Weve made plenty of complaints to management over the span of 2 years about it and how unhealthy that is for a grocery department, but the problem still exists and I doubt will ever go away. They are also incredibly lax about refilling shelves, often leaving the exact open gap I made by buying the last remaining product for over a month before filling up again (we checked daily as an experiment).

We are always looking out for a good deal, including the infamous Price Match that almost all big box companies are now doing, Target included. After visiting this Orem Target we are never going to price match there again. First, we ask at the Guest Service desk for clarification on the food and produce matching, we were told they would match prices but only AFTER we paid for it they would give us a refund. We were willing to give it a shot, so after loading our cart and before we pay for it we ask the cashier to again clarify they will price match it, and it was confirmed. Once we returned to Guest Services to actually do the match we were told they do not price match produce. NOT worth your time or hassle; dont bother.
