Ive been coming here since I was a teen, when it first opened. The whole place has grown by leaps and bounds as well as the amount of shoppers. In the mornings they open the mall to walkers for exercise which is a nice community service. I actually used to work here as a mall guard when I was in college. I dont go here often now because Im somewhat of a claustrophobic person, but on days when the traffic isnt so heavy I like to shop here. The selection of stores are huge and continuously growing. As of 6/23/16 theyre building some new additions on the side of the food court. I didnt see what it will be exactly but its a huge building.

The bathrooms there are extraordinary! From the delight that was the walk to the stall to sorrowful departure, I experienced a bliss I had not known for ages. The toilets resembled exquisite thrones built for luxuries beyond even the grandest of kings. The sinks swept my hands away to a sea that I would sail for years and years. Cleanliness was not even a question! The floors squeaked clean with every step I took, so much so that I chose to dine on said floor and my food was more edible than when I set it down. How I miss such a fond memory, and I hope to visit it again. Oh yeah and the mall was ok too

I cant believe having Hurricane Harvey going on the mall would be open.. dont the mangers or mall management care about the all the employees that work at the first colony mall??? Just cause the Hurricane didnt hit sugar land doesnt mean anything..not all Management, managers, supervisor & employees dont live in sugar land. Most of all of them live in Houston areas, all over fort bend county... dont they stop think about maybe all these employees might be flooded and wont be able to work or even open shop... its a damn shame...

Pretty good mall, parking is always difficult. The food court has nothing in particular to rave about but most people can find something to eat and theres usually seating. Lots of clothing stores- Forever 21, Macys, Banana Republic. As well as other varieties like Home goods, Lush, and Fossil. Also plenty of independent kiosks- a super cheap phone repair one and one that does custom embroidery among others. Good location. Antie Annes will do vegan pretzels for you.

Its like a dream come true for shopaholics. Has a very wide variety of stores, like Macys, Dillards, Dicks Sporting Goods, Bath and Body Works, Barnes and Nobles, etc. The food court is cool, and right by it theres a nice little play-place if your little ones are getting bored from following you in the New York & Co. The outdoor stores are very nice, and the scenery is quite pretty. So glad to have a mall like this!

Beautiful 1 story mall with many different retailers to choose from. They have a nice food court with many different options and varieties. The biggest negative I could say about the First Colony Mall is that I feel they could use a bigger parking lot. If you are from the area or one of the smaller towns from outside, this is a great stop for an Apple Store and to save you a trip into Houston traffic.

Remember when malls had basic benches in them where you could sit down for a few minutes? This place has replaced them with planters. Dont you want this old ladys money?!? Id be able to spend a lot more of it in here if I could stop & rest these old arthritic knees between stores. Actually, why dont YOU spend some $$$ and hire some decent planners? Otherwise, its a pleasant enough place.

With so many mall options in Houston, why would you want to go here if you dont live in Sugarland? Perhaps its the shoe stores that keep me coming back. Maybe its the think geek store? Im not sure. Maybe both. There are good things and bad things at this location but its tough to say that I can completely recommend it if you dont like shoes or geek stuff. Hmmm glazed doughnuts?

First Colony Security and the Mall Police Pick and Chose by their free will to Kick Chinese American citizen OUT. For the color of my skin. I just call to file a formal compliant on the base of my color of skin. They just hang out m y phone and ask me to come back Monday in person (I just Got 6 moth NO Go Ticket). I am NOT stupid. I will not go to get arrested again.

I love the fact that it was not overcrowded like other malls even though I went on a Saturday afternoon. Each store I went in had nice workers. I loved that they have the $5 stroller rental (which is basically a red pushcar with a steering wheel for toddlers) I love that they have a place for their feet so they dont touch the ground. I would definitely visit again.

Everything was good, except when I tried to use the one of the family restrooms, both were in use . My infant was crying crazy for a diaper change, waited for a long time, after like more than 5 mins both doors opened same time. Guess what, there aint no family in neither one, both were mall (store) employees taken up both the family restrooms.

Not enough benches/seats for the shoppers inside the mall. The seats are very limited located towards major department stores. The mall should invest in placing comfortable seating throughout the main halls. You might want to use the major malls in the south Florida area as an example to make the shopping experience more pleasant for shoppers.

I usually only go to J.C.Penney here, but there are other anchor stores including Dillards and Macys. The food court has recently had some issues with rats so I dont eat there but supposedly that problem has been handled. I believe it is still a relevant mall and has good stores that will still attract customers.

Great place to shop with lots of outlets for clothing and fashion accessories. Great eating options as well with lots of restaurants. If your shopping for electronics they dont have electronics stores apart from Apple and gamestop. Also mall directions are located at only a few mall entry points

This is a wonderful place to hang out for the day! I tend to look around for big sales here as most of the stores are too expensive for me, but its a great place to walk around. Traffic gets bad and its often hard to find a parking spot (especially on weekends), but it is worth it for me.

A huge wonderful mall and upscale outside shopping plaza. Inside a mix of upscale designer named stores yet other more affordable stores everywhere. Great food court. While malls are closing across the country, This very successful mall stands apart being 100% leased always for a reason

Great 1 story mall with a variety of shopping. Excellent resturants on the premise. Our favorite is Grimaldis Pizza. Very beautiful landscaping surrounding the property. One of the best areas in Houston to go next to the Galleria and The Woodlands. Top class mall, 5 stars all around.

Very friendly subset of the city of Sugar Land. Most stores are within reach and there are plenty of parking spaces. The security team and their frequent patrols are superb. Just a phone call away and they will be happy to give you a ride to your parking lot and your car.
