This is my favorite local place for produce!! Some people view Sprouts as expensive but when it comes to produce, they have the best value, best quality and best prices consistently. Walmart, and grocery stores generally have higher prices and not as good quality. Also, I love this stores small footprint. I do not have to walk a mile to get to the stuff I want to buy. I go in, am not rushed, buy my stuff and am done in about 45 minutes. Now...dont go in here planning to buy toilet paper and Coke! They dont sell that stuff! OK yeah, they have toilet paper and organic soda pops, but those items are going to be high priced. I do buy dairy products here occasionally, because they have very good quality. I often find meats at a very good price. Frequently, meats I like to buy, like bacon, boneless chicken breasts and thighs, and pork ribs, are on sale for better prices than Walmart. I love their bulk bins! nuts, granola, oatmeal, dried beans, etc...wonderful. And I love the artisan breads. Heat em up in the oven later that night and they are fantastic. They also have a good selection of cheeses and prepared items (like hummus, roast chicken, salad bar items, etc.) They do have wines and beers as well. They pack a lot into their little space! But the main reason I go every week is for the good produce.

Sprouts people are the best always pleasant and helpful. My concerns is the lack of fresh local produce. When they first came into the market that was their claim that when available local produce would be available. Unfortunately they have abandoned that policy. During the peak growing and harvesting season in North Texas when local produce is widely available at all the major big box stores Sprouts continues to offer produce from Mexico. When I asked the Sprouts produce manager he just shrugs and says it is a corporate decision based upon price points. Come on Sprouts get back to your roots and supply the good local stuff. I have written multiple times to the corporate office and get the same form letter back saying that someone will contact me. The never do. Even Walmart across the street often has more local produce.

I am an avid vegetable gardener & health food eater & I was thrilled to find Sprouts. Sprouts has a HUGE selection of fresh veggies, fruits, specialty cheese, dried fruits, nuts & granola mixes & organic products on hand. They have a limited amount of spirits, meats & milk dairy but they have specialty items like Irish cream, canadian bacon, hot dogs & yogurt from small companies. They have a very limited amount of canned/frozen veggies/goods & chips. Their vitamin selection is the BEST in Texas. I have never seen anything like it. They have multiple aisles of vitamins & herbs from multiple manufacturers sitting side by side. It makes it easy for the consumer to compare price, quantity & the quality of different mixes. I love it. If you love eating healthy "fun food" & like vitamins this is the place for you. Jan 2012

We find Sprouts to be an inconsistent place to shop. We love their large selection of no sugar items, bulk nuts and snack type items. Their vegetables are hit and miss as to quality and you definitely want to shop for sale items. Their oganic veg selection is pretty small. Their meat (fish) selection is also small though we usually find excellent quality fish at better pricing then Central Market. The biggest complaint is the check-out service - usually slow, understaffed, rarely look you in the eyes and tend to talk to one another rather than pay attention to doing their job. WHERE ARE THE MANAGERS?

Love Sprouts & although, I have to agree with a previous poster about checkout service being slow & not as friendly-the rest of the store is fun and provides me with lots of better food options than most of the local grocery stores. I like the many flavors of licorice(not good for me but, fun to choose between flavors like blueberry, root beer, and more). I buy meats(pick the ones on sale if possible) and sometimes the fruit/veggies. If you do purchase from the refrigerator section by the medicines-make sure to check dates(sometimes the expired ones are up there). Otherwise, love this little place!

I shop here often, but am also dissappointed in the meager organic produce selection. I really have to go to Central Market to get decent organic produce, then the produce costs an arm and a leg. It would be nice if Sprouts had more organic produce, so I could one stop shop. Also, when I have tried their regular produce, it wasnt very flavorful, so I usually dont buy produce there at all. But, I do still like the stores other departments.

IMHO They have the absolute freshest produce at reasonable prices. Produce I get from Sprouts far at lasts Kroger and taste much better. Also great selection of sausages and meats, also breads! Love the bulk, but wish they had more. Limited but nice wine selection. They may not have as much certified organic produce as CM or W, but they do have way more local produce than CM or WF or any other chain grocery.

I was so disappointed with the lack of organic produce at this store. I was shocked at how little there was, about as much of a selection as kroger, maybe less, and the prices here were ridiculous. Ill never shop here again. Ill hoof it all the way to Whole Foods, or even pop in to Central Market if Im going to pay those kinds of prices.

as I have convinced many co-workers of doing just that. Their deli is hearty, healthy, and best of all inexpensive! I love shopping here as well whereas, I got so used to shopping at Trader Joes and Mothers Market in CA when I was living there. This is a great place for anyone to go to shop or grab a bite to eat.

Hey organic shoppers - go to Whole Foods if you want to pay three times what you pay at Sprouts. Sprouts does not cater to the organic crowd... they go for great prices on fruits and vegetables. I could not be happier with their selections. I would recommend Sprouts to anyone. Great prices & specials on produce!

Good deals and selections of vegetables and fruits. I always go here for grocery shopping. I agree with all the reviews that they dont have much of organic selections, but they sometimes do have great deal of organic vegetables or fruits. I think they tend to have fresh products in the morning.

Very clean store with very friendly clerks! Great sales from time to time. Even buy one, get one free! Just be sure to check the expiration dates if you are stocking up to make sure you will use it before it goes bad as the dates can be close on the sale items (rightfully so).

I was in the supplement department and the associates were very rude. I was looking for rhodolia and mispronounced it, sorry. Then I was looking for eclectic institute cranberry and the associate rudely replied "we dont carry that anymore. I wont be back!

Cashiers are always so friendly which is refreshing when shopping after a long day at work. As a wheat intolerant eater, this place is also a haven. Theres few foods that ARENT gluten free here.
