(you can skip the tldr part as its summarized in the second paragraph)Theres 2/5 times this particular store has made me happy, so 2/5 stars. The two times were great, a perfectly working rgb mouse I still use today, and the second time was a pair of marshall headphones (strangely enough, I didnt see any of those at this best buy during this). 3 times I have had to deal with junk, and ironically all from the same type of section(anything sound related), a 4 piece speaker (the wire was basically 90% broken in the back), a second try at speakers. But the most recent failure, the reason I am writing this review, was a pair of bose headphones(the 25 comfort, noise cancelling wired ones). I had purchased my set with a warranty about a year ago, they worked fine till the left speaker went out about two days ago, go swap it and no problem right? Three hundred dollars worth of headphones, and they couldnt even check that the replacement to see that the wire had all the functions, which is the main reason I bought them the first time. (volume control and playpause) You know, the basics? So.. I purchased a new warranty on it which was 30 dollars more than the previous time I had purchased a warranty (nice job guys), and thinking that was it and all said and done, I start driving home cause I had to wait about an hour in line to exchange them. Go home, pull em out, put battery in, and.....right speaker sound was off , so I double checked the cord,wasnt all the way in, done. I tried to change the volume using the up and down on the wire, annnd nothing. Pause and play work perfectly fine, sound is good too, but the problem is every single one of my songs has a different volume level to it. The reason I got this type was so I wouldnt have to feel around my pocket to find my volume each and every single time. Bottom line, is I dont think they bother to check their stock for defects, and they just repackage and sell to the next sucker in line for returned products, and the lack of people handling customer service is ridiculous. So...unimpressed on all fronts. Way to go "best buy".

This Best Buy should be called Worst Buy... Your service sucks! It keeps saying that theres only one call ahead of you. Thats a lie. Ive called three separate times and each time my cell phone has timed out after waiting 15 minutes on hold. If they are on the phone theyre making personal calls. Im making this comment while yet again on hold. Im about to reach the 5-minute Mark again. And whichever one of your sales reps or Associates suggested I dial 3 then 1 to get through to someone immediately... Also lied. I shouldnt even rate this with one star... it should only be a sliver of a point... but I had to give them one star to make a comment... well the comment is... they "SUCK". Approaching the 10-minute mark... Ill have to make another trip... go over to the Best Buy to answer my simple question. Here we are in the 21st century and I cant even get someone on the phone. Approaching the 15-minute Mark... Mark. 3x ... 15 minute calls while waiting on hold. I think when I go over to Best Buy tomorrow night ... wait until its almost store closing hours and then Ill be sure to wait 45 extra minutes so that others can wait as I have waited.

Purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 i7 256 G of storage and 16 gig of RAM. Two months later it did an update, and died, would not turn on again. Two different Geeks looked at it and liked me in the eye and said, "It wont Turn on." I had already told them twice! Unlike the laptops of old, you cannot take the battery out of these pads!!! It n the 27th I turned it in to the Geek Squad who had confirmed , "It wont turn on." Tech told me , Its a holiday weekend so give them until Wednesday either send a replacement or if they cant we will give you a new one! On Thursday I called at !0:00, when they opened, Tech would not look it up and asked who helped me. I tried to describe the young man as best as I could and the Tech got mad. He said, "Let me look into this and call you back." I said please do. DIdnt happen. Called Manager at 1230 and he said the techs are with customers to which my response was , I"M A CUSTOMER! Then he said he would call me back, Hasnt! I will call best Buy Corporate! WORST SERVICE EVER! And I had a service contract!

We are currently in the middle of the ABSOLUTE WORST experience with ANY purchase weve EVER made! Eight days ago we purchased a tv in the store that cost us over 1,600 dollars. It was scheduled for delivery today 8/14/2017. My husband received a voicemail confirmation yesterday stating it would be delivered as scheduled, but he then was sent an email 40 odd minutes later that delivery was set for tomorrow. Hes been on the phone with everyone and their supervisors since 7:30am with NOTHING but the run around! It is now 11:10, & even though he was given a complaint case # 2 hours ago by a manager at the customer service, nobody has been working on fixing the issue as was guaranteed. What a nightmare! The tv was in the store when we bought it, but it had to travel around the great state of Texas before we can receive it! Its OUTRAGEOUS that we could have ordered online & gotten the shipment sooner without all the hassle of dealing with rude customer service or lack there of I should say.

So, I pre-ordered an iPhone. Associate called Thursday night to tell me that it had arrived. When I got to the store (for my scheduled appointment) I found out that it hadnt arrived. I was told that I would receive a call when it arrived. It would seem that 13 million other folks received their pre-ordered iPhones this weekend, but not me... Ive tried calling the store, but no one ever answers the phone (its been ringing now for over 12 minutes). Ive also called the activation line that the mobile counter uses (caller ID from Thursday night), but they wont answer questions on that line. Even as I let them hear their other line ring away... Update, they answered at 17:38. Nice... Apparently Im supposed to be receiving an email -- nevermind that they took my number down several times and told me theyd call. No phone yet. Best Buy didnt get all of their pre-orders. I spend a lot of money at Best Buy, but Im reconsidering that trend at the moment.

You know what...I get sick and tired of customers belly aching about the "Lack" of service they get at this and other retailers! This store is NOT perfect by any means but it does not give you/us the consumers to go in and treat the associates like garbage! That could be YOUR child or Grandchild working their tail off just to please some ingrate who is bitching about the price of an item that he is trying to screw Best Buy out of by price matching a website in Bangladesh!! Grow up people...start treating each other with compassion and understanding; walk a mile in an associates shoes who just dealt with an irate customer trying to "exchange" a 2 year old tablet that looks like it was dragged behind a car in a Fast & Furious car chase! Compassion goes a long way and then, only then you may get treated the way you would want to be treated.
