I will NEVER shop at another Rack Room Store as long as I live. I mean that will all my heart. Nor will my wife, three kids, and my five brothers and sisters. I am also a high school teacher in the local school district and will let all my students know to not shop there either. My experience... I bought a pair of $60 Highland Creek Port shoes for school back on 9-1-14. Today is 11-2-14. My shoes are coming apart. The soles are coming unglued from the leather. I am a teacher and I wear them to school. I dont kick soccer balls with them or abuse them I stand in them and teach. I went to this store tonight to return them and get a new pair but was told the shoes are only warranted for 60 days. I am 2 days out of "warranty". I made my case that I have never had a pair of shoes fall apart in less than 60 days. I was told by the tall red headed clerk too bad but the shoes are out of warranty. SERIOUSLY?? I have a pair of shoes that I purchase here and they are falling apart and youre not going to do anything about it? Thats right! You are out of warranty! So over one pair of shoes you are going to lose my and all my family and friends business for LIFE? yes sir. what is even more amazing is that I only paid $20 for the shoes because I bought two pair of shoes at the time and got a special price on these. For $20 they lost customers (plural) for LIFE! Seem like good business to me.... NOT! I will cringe every time I see this store and continue to tell my story. I bet this tall red headed girl has never taken a business class in her life. She has a lot to learn about customer service and so too does the manager who is directing her to be this way. (If in fact the owner/manager is directing her to be this way). Im so stunned by this ignorant act of customer neglect.

Purchased shoes three weeks ago. Manager stated we would receive them in the mail. Received shoes today for someone else, TOTALLY wrong shoes, wrong address, wrong name! Returned shoes to store, manager stated "hey, your shoes are in stock. " she could not find them. She took me to the shelf were it should have been... there they were on the top shelf. This was obviously the worst possible customer service EVER!!!!!!!!!

Asked the girl at the front to call another store to check if they had the shoes I wanted in my size for an exchange. She had a personal conversation with an employee from the other store before even getting to whether or not they had the size. Shes still on the phone asking the other store when they wanted to go to 13th floor.

Love this place. I can get good quality shoes at an affordable price. The shoes are also set up together like a traditional shoe store. No hunting around the whole store to find another pair in a different size. The value of a discount shoe store with the experience of shopping at a traditional shoe store. Whats not to love?
