Pesimo servico al cliente. Compre unos duritos con chile y sabian a JABON, me queje con el dueno y su respuesta fue que la bolsa estaba casi vacia, a lo cual yo le dije que solo me habia comido tres y mi esposo uno, osea un total de CUATRO, como le agragaron bastante chile se remojaron enseguida lo cual hizo ver como que habia yo consumido mas de la mitad( quien se puede comer la mitad cuando saben a JABON!!!!) Supongo que el dueno carece de humildad y en vez de ofrecer una disculpa u otra solucion prefirio ignorarme. Espero y nadie se encuentre una mosca en su vaso de fruta, no se las vaya a cobrar....

Thank goodness this place is a bit of a walk from my apartment! It means that I can walk off some of the ice cream after I come here every day this summer. Every flavor is bursting with deliciousness and the staff is beyond friendly. Once, my very, very hard to impress aunt and cousin were in town and we were in danger of missing Fruteria La Mission as they were closing soon and we were in San Antonio. I called them to beg them to stay open five extra minutes so we could make it. They were SO nice on the phone, gave me a password and said theyd wait. Luckily, we got there before closing and didnt need the password, but how amazing is it that theyd offer to stay late? Even if it was just going to be a couple of minutes. They even have a nice bathroom and a small play area for kids so everyone can enjoy their ice cream together and leisurely-like. Pro-tip: When you go, budget some tasting time. If youre like me, itll take forever just to choose a flavor!

The two mangonadas they served me, tasted like they had melted and was frozen again. My wife got a picadilly and nachos that was over filled with cheese that sogged the chips. I will never come back to this place ever again. Weve gotten Picadillys from other place and this place had them watered down and had no flavor. My wife threw it away with discussed. I should of took my money and went to "BIG DADDYS" very pricey but worth every penny. This fruteria place is the meaning of you get what you pay for, meaning very cheap and bad quality deserts.

The fruit cups are enormous! Corn in a cup here is my favorite! They boil corn on cob then they cut it off for corn cups. Fast and great.
