We ordered a superwhy character cake almost a month before my sons 1st birthday party. We made sure that they know the character and emailed them a picture of what we wanted. They enthusiastically said yes and the cakeprice was 200 usd. The day came and when we got the cake we were devastated. Superwhy looked like he just got into an accident and got his head smashed and his eyes popped out.I called in after my husband sent me the picture of the cake. They asked us to bring it back so they could fix the problem. When my husband went back they said they couldnt do anything about it since its not their "piece". Its not their design and they are not pastry chefs. I was horrified by this reply. Only thing they can do is to remove the post - crashed superwhy aircraft on top and refund us with 35 bucks. Why would they take a job if they couldnt do it? Nobodys expecting an exact replica of the cake, but at least make it a bit more like it. The picture says it all. No attention was given to details, Superwhys smile was crooked, the fondant linings were thinning towards its end, it was obvious that they were in a hurry in making this. Best part is, the guy my husband was talking to was saying that he hopes this wouldnt result in bashing their store and bad reviews! Money spent on buying that cake wasnt easy. And we resorted to fixing the topper for the cake on our own! WE Havent heard anything from the store yet, I dont recommend going to this cake shop and were not certainly gonna go back EVER!!!! horrible job and wrong choice of words to use on unsatisfied customers!!!

I ordered a cake that needed to be picked up on Halloween for a birthday. I specifically gave a picture of the cake I needed, it was supposed to be a batman themed cake. When it was picked up it looked nothing like the cake shouldve. It was done very poorly and seemed rushed. If they had too many orders and knew that it was too much for them to handle they shouldve told me and not taken up the cake order just as a different cake shop did to me. If you compared my cake to all the cakes the made in the past it looked pathetic. However they said they can fix the cake and deliver it which they did and they only fixed one part of the cake which still seemed rushed and sloppy. When I called the shop back they told me they would talk to the manager and get back to me, which they never did. Not to mention they gave us the cake in a box that could not be fully closed so when we did cut it, the cake was very dry. Will not be ever using them again and will make sure to let my friends and family to make sure not to use their service if ever in need of a custom cake. On top of everything they over charged us, I told the lady to charge the card that the deposit was made which they did and when I had the cake picked up they made that person pay as well.

I only give this 2 stars because of the decorations, and the cake. If i could, i would give the cake 5 stars, the decoratating 4 stars, and the cupcakes 1 star. Customer service 1 star. I got a baby shower cake and cupcakes for my sister. The design was good, and the Tres Leches cake was fantastic, however the cupcakes were horrible. I ordered 50 cupcakes and not one person ate the whole thing. I ended up with 40 left over. CHILDREN wouldnt even eat them. Needless to say we did not take any home. The frosting was a bit on the sweet side for me, but over all pretty good, but the cupcakes themselves were just bad. They tasted stale and dry. The baby shower was on a Saturday, and the shop was closed by the time it was over and not open again until Monday so i was unable to contact anyone until then. I left a message regarding this as well as feedback on their website, but its been 10 days and noone has attempted to contact me regarding this. I paid over $200 and the only thing that was edible was the cake. It was completely embarrassing. I will NEVER go back there again and I will make sure that I tell everyone to go somewhere else.

My sister ordered her wedding cake from here. Not only did they show up very late to the venue, but they also made it wrong. The display was not as she had asked her. Luckily, our aunt stepped in and took over and fixed it. As an apology, they gave my sister a free cake offer. They decided to use it on cupcakes for a party. The cupcakes did not turn out as designed either. We gave up on giving them any more chances. Then my boyfriend surprised me with a cake from here (he had not heard the stories about them yet) and he said his cake came out wrong as well and was missing some of the design he had asked for. You order a cake for a special reason and it seems that they cant seem to care enough to get it right.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant to pay almost $100 on a birthday cake but I have to say, without a doubt that it was the best money I have ever spent!!! The look on my wifes face was one of surprise, joy and love!!! It came out better than I could have ever imagined!! We will be going back without a doubt!! Her favorite color is Kelly Green and she LOVES Lillies and Giraffes. I simply gave them a picture of two giraffes kissing and told them what I wanted and this was the beautiful result!

From the start, this company showed excellent customer service which is why I chose them after speaking with them on the phone. They gave me an email address so I could send my idea to them. After placing my order they recreated the cake exceeding my expectations. Their price also wasnt overly expensive. My guest and I loved the way the cake looked and it tasted great too! Thank you Cake Art, I will definitely recommend you all in the future!

Better than Good! Brought tears to and smiles to every occasion... 4-5 event thus far and counting... FYI: I especially appreciate the extra advice on how to store the products for long lasting freshness. The Art is Exceptional! It is very detailed and the ideas are creatively produced just as I picture them in my mind with room for the artist creative resolve... 4 tho... Cake Art is what made Mona Lisa smile...lol...jk...

This is a great place. I ordered a birthday cake from here a few weeks ago. It was so tasty and fresh! Not only can they make an amazing cake but theyre so accommodating. I live a good distance from them, but theyre around the corner from my gym. So I was able to pick up my cake early before they even opened, since it was prepaid. Thank you for making my experience so streamline, and for making such a delicious cake!

If I could provide zero stars I would. Im not sure why these people feel they can charge such exorbitant prices when their products are sub-par. It must be because the rent is so high in such an affluent side of town they think they can get away with their outrageous prices. Instead of wasting your money here, go a few miles down the road where you can get the same, if not better, product for half the price.
