Always a pleasure shopping at Portland heb, employees are always friendly and helpful and just a fun pleasant atmosphere in who h to shop. They also have high quality meats and seAFOOD WITH a wide variety of greasy product from which to choose. A new bonus item I love is the single serving meals packaged by the seAFOOD counter with a nice variety of meal choices for anyone looking for fresh easy dinner choices

Always have fresh produce and nice looking meat items. They dont do multiple coupons per item, etc but have weekly meal deals that if you buy 1 or 2 items they give you several more for free all centered around helping the customer put a meal together. Also a lot of buy this item, get this item free. I will not go to the other grocery store in town for any of my meats or produce.

Always clean, great service, and stocked shelves! I had no less than four people walked up to me and others around in the store to ask if I was finding everything okay or needed any help today. That being on a busy Saturday afternoon, to boot. Well managed and very friendly staff all around. I really appreciate the service here. Well done Portland HEB!!

I love shopping at Portland HEB. One thing that disappoints me is that this is the ONLY HEB that doesnt carry whole menudo. They just carry diced menudo. I have spoken to the the market manager and he said they can not get it. BULL! I Worked for HEB and I know it can be done. I worked in the market as a matter of act. Thanks .

Hands down better than local Wal-Mart. Appeared clean. I have been shopping here 5 weeks and still hunt for things. My grocery bills have definitely been higher (even using coupons) than in Houston at Krogers where there is actually true competitors for my business. Plus no fuel points here.

Do Not get produce at this Heb in Portland. I have got produce there twice and it has been bad. Moldy, rotten.This time I got the tomato today and started to make a salad. I peeled off a sticker on the tomato and it had a rotten spot. Ugh! I Do Not Recommend this Heb for produce!

Choice of dried basil in spice aisle poor. One brand nearly $7 and one brand I never heard of: Litehouse. I had to buy the unknown brand since I was out of basil. Need one more option. Rest of short list: no problems.

HEB has the best fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Great bakery and Deli. Their rotisserie chickens are delicious. They have everything! Very friendly and courteous staff.
