Our new Muslim neighbors decided to bring us over this wonderful chickpea dish, it was out of this world! We decided to try a meat deli close by called Royal Halal Meats on Coit to get some meat and dolmas to accompany her dish and It was freaking fantastic! Nicest owner ever, he let us try the meats before we bought them. I encourage everyone to try something new. #worldly #lovethyneighbor I could live on Mediterranean food!!!

So, we always go to this place to get our meat! But recently I went to get chicken and accidentally got the wrong type so went back in 30 minutes later to just exchange it with the kind I needed. I wouldnt have minded if the owner or whoever it was told me that they dont take returns and its a state law. The man was literally yelling at me which made me feel very embarrassed. Very rude!! Never going back again.

Found this place by accident. Was so glad we went inside. We were greeted by the kindest person who took the time to explain what halal meant (we already knew, but seeing the pure devotion in his eyes made us not want to interrupt). Loved the fact that we can get any cut of meat, and the selection in the freezer was incredible. Very friendly and the lamb was DELICIOUS
