I purchased some tires from discount tire for my f350 and after running 6000 miles I needed them to be rebalanced and rotated . When I purchased the tires I was informed by the discount tire in Clovis, NM that 65 PSI was the max pressure on the tire because they were larger than the factory size. I liked to run them at 45 PSI for better wear and softer ride. But when I went to this discount tire they started to argue with me about my tire pressure and would not allow me to go down to 45 psi. I mentioned to them 65 PSI was max pressure on my tires and not to exceed that, but instead they decided to air my tires up to the OEM specs which was 65 PSI on the front and 80 PSI in the rear over inflating my tires. Luckily when they scanned my tire pressure sensors I noticed they had over inflated my tires 80 PSI or I probably wouldve had a catastrophic blowout on the highway. After more discussion with them I explained to them that the tire pressure on the tire is maximum 65 PSI and they agreed to lower my tires down the 65 PSI. I strongly do not recommend you go to this discount tire they do not pay attention to what they are doing and are doing dangerous work. On top of that they would not warranty their own tire pressure sensor that I had got from them two months prior and they charged me $65. When they changed my tire pressure sensor they discovered another one was bad. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because it gave me the second sensor for free. Good luck to whoever does business with this discount tire.

My 62 yr old divorced mother went into Discount Tire to get a tire fixed on a 19,000 mile 2014 Toyota Corolla. They said they couldnt fix the tire due to where the nail was in the tire and she would have to replace the tire with a new one. She tried to explain there was no wear and tear on the tire and the car was hardly driven. They refused to help her so she went to Toyota of Lubbock and they fixed her tire for 11 bucks. Toyota also checked the rest of her tires and stated they were in good shape for at least another year. Moral of the story, dont send your aging parents to a shark business.

Great service! Some people had removed the valve stems from two of my tires, giving me flat tires. I took one tire (which someone else had taken off since I dont know how to change a tire) up to Discount Tire and they put a new stem and filled it up quickly for me. And despite being short on staff, sent someone out to change that tire with the second flat. I then drove my car up there and in a short while they had put a stem in that tire, filled it up, and also put air in my tires! If you every need help, go to this one! As one can tell, they are nice and very helpful and quick! :)

I had a very good experience with Leslie Wyman, the guy who put my tires on and all the guys at Discount Tire, Lubbock, Ave. Q location. They are professional, friendly, & they went so far beyond just doing their job! They were very busy the afternoon I was there but they took time with me and treated me with so much respect. (they are fast too!) They helped me so much with the used tires and they are as good as new to me. I wont do tire business anywhere else! I didnt catch the guys name that put my tires on but he did a great job! I give them 10★

College kid with a flat tire doesnt need to be taken advantage of by local business. The service was decent, but absurdly overcharged for a single replacement. The tire was "supposedly" warrantied by Goodyear, however they made some excuse of it being a "road hazard", so they couldnt warranty it. NO $#!T sherlock?! My flat tire on my car being a "road hazard" who knew? Anyway, I was greatly overcharged. Guess I had it coming to me, seeing all the reviews this place has been given.

I got a great customer service from this Discount Tire store. If you meet, Chris (the manager), you will find your best luck of the day in getting your tires changed very fast. His customer service and technical support are great. He understood his customers concern and walked me through the tire problem as fast as he can. This store has such a great manager who performed way beyond my expectation. I will recommend my friends to fix up their tires in this store.

These guys did great work on my Subaru STI. They were cautious to not damage the side skirts or jack points. They took care handling the wheels, cleaned the bolt points properly before mounting, everything. Outstanding. Id trust them with my other performance vehicles. They have the two best possible skills - they listen and theyre honest. Jacob H. did awesome work as a tech and the manager Will was very friendly and knowledgeable. A++

Dont dare try to be a single independent woman and go looking for help/service from this store location. The DT representative that "helped" me was condescending and tried to take full advantage of my naivete. Then a few days later I read on a friends fb page that she had a very similar experience at this same location. Shameful.

Sad to say they are Not trustworthy Ive always used them but they have lost my business i went in to fix a Flat on a one month old Tire and was told that it was NOT fixible and tried to sell me a new one for 300$$ so I went down the street to a small tire shop and they fixed it in 10 minutes for 9.00$$ BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!

Talked to John Cooper, Assistant Manager and he was great! I called after the stores closing time and he explained the quote presented to my TT daughter that she received earlier in the day. I have been going to Discount for years and they have the best prices and service.

Always Helpful, always want to make things right. Talk to Chris, the manager, he does what ever it takes to make customers happy. I drive past 2 Discount Tire locations to get excellent service from these guys. If you are unhappy, always talk to a manager.

This company is the BOMB! They have always been helpful, honest and reliable. Where ever i am I know that I can get help under the warranty. My kids are in college in Lubbock and they get care for their tires. Well never buy tires anywhere else.

Took my runFlats in there and they didnt know what they were, and when I didnt want to replace all four tires they haphazardly put the tire back on and I had to have the wheel repaired. Very disappointed in what is reputed to be a good store.

The service was great Anns the people were friendly and helpful. We were supposed to get a text when our car was ready. We never got notified. When I called an hour after the expected time, it was ready, but I would have appreciated a call.

Swift customer service. I felt so comfortable and pleased with how the representative talked to me and completed my purchase of a tire change. He told I would get out in 30 minutes and I got out in 30 minutes. Thats just great service.
