Discount tire slide road Lubbock Texas I have been doing business with them for years and I have had to deal with workers there in the past that I didnt care for much, but lately they have been really good! If they are getting sales commission its hard to see it. They are very nice and work hard to help you out. As I waited for my tire I overheard an employee talking to a customer (Man and Wife) both were really rude and wouldnt even stand at the counter to go over options they made the team member stand in front of them at the chairs as they argued and harassed him about everything. The Discount tire man had to walk back and forth to the the computer to get information and then walk over to them and listen to them gripe. He was so nice the entire time! He did make a sale and got the rude couple fixed up and out the door! I walked over to them once and was going to tell them to get up and go to the desk and stop being rude but somehow I refrained myself this time. I would give this guy a A+ for how he handled those 2 ridiculous people. And no they were not disabled and they did not have health issues they were just simply worthless human beings.

I went into this location today after speaking to Adam,who was very kind and let me know that they would rotate my tires for free. However when I arrived I was "helped" by Justin,who did nothing more than make me feel stupid. He was very condescending,sarcastic and just plain rude to me. Surely it had nothing to do with the fact that I am a young female who went in alone. The whole time they tried to up sell me when I finally had to tell them that times are tough and I just didn't have the money for anything other than a $30 balance that Justin insisted I needed to get the free rotation. I usually go to Firestone but Adams kind demeanor was what prompted me to give DT a chance. Wouldn't ever go here again,and from what I have read,single females shouldn't go in here alone.

I went in needing a single tire being on a budget. I got the price of four tires over 5 times after repeatedly saying I could barely afford one. I was told I could not get my flat fixed because of the tire but could get air in it until the tire I needed arrived. I left after an hour and a half with my deflated tire put back on with no air because I did not order the $400 dollar tire that was recommended that wouldnt arrive for over a week. Very Very disappointed with the service that was offered here. I have worked with the Discount on Q and they did not try to up sell me 10 times but tried to understand my situation and put me in a tire that would work. I will never go to the slide location again and would not recommend it unless you plan on buying four brand new tires on the spot.

We drove in from out of town and realized we had a nail in my fiancés brand new tire. When I looked up discount all locations were closed, we happened to drive by this one and noticed bays were still open so we stopped by. Technically they did close at 5 but they went ahead and patched the tire up anyway after being told no by firestone!! Thank you so much discount tire on slide rd for taking care of us even when you didnt have to!! Thats what I call outstanding customer service!

Douglas is the Best! One of my tires was not holding pressure so I took it over here and when they where inspecting the found out that my back tires where low on tread and ended up replacing all 4 tires for a great price! They even moved my best tire and replaced my spare tire for me at no extra charge. They helped explain what I needed for my needs and gave me an amazing experience. If you need tires go see Douglas. Best in the business!

I recently priced a spare replacement as I had a blow out and about to take a long trip. They were the lowest in town and the service was quick, 30 minutes or less. The only reason for a downgrade in service, was the gentleman who was taking care of my needs, tried to persuade me to buy a less quality tire at a higher price than the one I was interested in. Telling me that the higher price insured better quality. $10 difference.

My tire kept going low, it had a nail stuck in it, in an awkward place. They said it wasnt going to be replaceable. They put an old tire as a replacement for me. So that I wouldnt be driving around with the bad tire. This was such a blessing ! Thank yall so much! Thank you to Fausto and the young man who brought me my keys! You were just so happy and smiling! Yall are the best!

This place is full of integrity. I was passing through when my tire went flat, I ran over a nail but I could not find it. I let them know that I was in a hurry and if they could not fix it I wanted new tires. This would have been over $400 in sales. They were honest and they were able to patch the tire for me and get me back on the road.

My tire had a screw in it and when I brought it here to get fixed I was told it was "fishy". I guess this is how they attempt to get out of fixing road hazard flats. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable with as much as Ive spent on my truck tires and my wifes jeep tires. Unsatisfied and offended. -Matt C.

Our car was having issues and we thought it might be the balancing of the tires. Came in here and they determined the problem within 1 minute. I ended up buying 4 new tires (not because they were pushy or trying to make some sales) because they helped me to understand. My car is driving so much better.

Went in with a problem with tires I had bought from them, the said tires where fine it was my truck. 2 days later after putting my truck in the shop and finding nothing wrong I went to a different location they had to replace the tires on the truck they wouldnt balance. Poor poor service and lies.

Thanks to Discount Tire of Lubbock, actually there to help. Yes they are in the tire sales business, that is what they do best, sell tires. I am a loyal customer, have been over 10 years. Best prices on quality tires. The service is unbeatable anywhere. I am not being paid for this.

The men here are so respectful and helpful. Ive been here for two different vehicles, and both times I was helped immediately, and the job was done in a surprisingly short amount of time. Tires arent cheap, but they do try to offer you the best deal. Will definitely be back here!!!!

Quick and friendly service. I had them replace two tires for me. A week later I got a hole in a sidewall of my older two tires. I ended up at Big O tires and got a comparable tire for much cheaper. Despite the lower price at a competitor, I would still buy tires here. Great people.
