Michaels is my home away from home. haha You can find me in the yarn section since I am addicted to crocheting and knitting. I love the selection of yarn. There are so many brands and colors to choose from. My favorite Michaels is the one in Keller. I have tried the one in Hurst and they did not seem to have the choices I was looking for. To be fair it was Christmas time and there were some great sales going on so it might be that they had sold our of a few items. Both places were clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

Dont get a custom frame made here. First experience: the frame was done timely but they had entered the wrong material for the frame so I didnt get what I ordered. My choice was wait another standard two weeks for them to correct their mistake or just take it. Second experience: my frame took an additional week and a half because they didnt measure the the piece I brought them to be framed so they received a frame two inches too big. They are full of mistakes and not very apologetic about it.

The TWO people that work here are really nice when you get the chance to talk to them. This place is RIDICULOUSLY under-staffed. Check out takes a few years. It may be faster to add up what youve got in your hand, throw cash at a register and tell them to keep the change.

Good selection of craft supplies and decorative stuff. But youd be a fool to buy anything not marked as being "on sale" unless you just need it right now, you can find it cheaper someplace else or wait for it to go on sale.

During the holidays we always go to get new cupcake baking tins and a gingerbread house. I love that they offer coupons but sometimes things are a bit expensive even after coupons.

I like this place for painting related things. I get oil paints, canvases and brushes. Be sure to subscribe to their coupons - getting frames and canvases on sale is a real deal!

Great craft store location. Got a picture framed in the framing department. The prices are crazy high but he worker help me get it out on a tight timeframe.
