Michael McMakin

Most of the individuals were very nice yet the store manager refused to help us in the frame shop. We had waited over 20 minutes. We picked out our frame and backing by ourselves. All we need was someone to fill the order. There were at least 5 people that I am sure could have helped us. She seemed stressed out over some classes. She threw her hands and said i will be there after i set up my 11am classes. Well it was already after 11am. Her body language and tone made we feel like i was 10 years old. She could have said give me a couple more minutes I will be right with you.

Store is clean/maintained well for a place with tons of small items, staff is helpful when approached but dont expect many greetings. While this is my usual go-to for most things crafts/art related, I am not a fan of the checkout experience here. The staff is friendly, but the lines can be a bit long/slow at times and I hate giving away my email address out loud (probably as much as the associates having to enter them all the time). FYI, if youre looking for the clearance goodies theyre at the end of the aisles on the wall closest to DSW (For now. They tend to shuffle this stuff around).

The selection of crystals was disappointing honestly. I got basically what I needed but would have to go online to find specifically what I am looking for. The prices were very high and just left me feeling as though it really wasnt worth it could have purchased craft supplies on Etsy for way less.

They have a great variety of products and if you sign up for their emails you get several coupons every week! Plus, the employees are usually patient and friendly. Love shopping at Michaels!
