My wife and I have been shopping for furniture for some time. We went almost every weekend for almost 2 months. We were very happy that we came across Lee Oliver at Star Furniture Outlet. This is the location furthest north of Houston. We had been to so many furniture stores and constantly bothered by sales persons. Now we fully understand it is their job to try to assist and sell as well that they work on commission, but their job should also be to be able to read people and understand when their customers need some space and when they need help. Lee Oliver hit this mark completely. He was polite and attentive. He would listen to what we wanted and then make suggestions. He could easily tell when we wanted to discuss things privately. This was much appreciated. He allowed us to close ourselves. He was not pushy no was he ever trying to tell us what comfort felt like as so many of the other stores tried to do. Comfort is unique to each individual and I didnt appreciate the other stores telling me how comfortable a couch or a chair was after I already told them I didnt like it. After we selected the first piece we told Lee we wanted to browse through the store and see if we wanted anything else. He let us walk around as he tagged the piece we selected. Then with perfect timing as we had selected a chair he was there ready to assist us in the very moment we decided to look for him. We got a fair deal and Lee was very pleasant to deal with the entire time. Deliver went as well as could be expected with the one exception of not getting a call the night before to confirm delivery, but it did show up on the day expected and we did receive a call in a reasonable amount of time before hand. Items were as expected, they placed them where requested and cleaned up after the shipping wrap was removed. All in all I recommend this location and Lee Oliver as a sales consultant. To add a side note, we went to the location a little south of here and found a couch and a sofa we liked. The "last one left" price was higher than a large retailer was advertising online for a new item drop shipped. When I explained it to the sales lady that the price was much higher for their open item than a brand new one, she informed us after talking to the manager that they could only take 100 dollars off, which was still a couple hundred dollars more than the new one before you add the delivery fee which the other retailer had included. They were not even willing to discuss or meet the price for the exact same sofa. We were very cautious about the second location expecting the same thing but Lee was a breath of fresh air! Thanks again Lee and the Star Furniture team at 16515 N Fwy! We will be back!

I want to start off by saying there are good deals to be had there. You just have to look for them. Unfortunately, there price strategy is ridiculously deceiving. They mark up ALL the original prices to make it look like youre getting an amazing deal. Their red tags are their bottom line prices for the pieces that are only available on the floor. Our bedroom set was $4,000 at their regular showroom. They had a beat up set at their clearance center originally tagged at $6800!!!! marked down to $3600. No thanks. Id rather buy a new set that wasnt returned by someone for a little more.

Love my sofa! Shopped everywhere - really everywhere and the style, fabric and price cannot be beat. The best part is the ability to tailor your sofa to exactly what you want. Want it 2" wider and 1" shorter? No problem. Different legs and tufting on the back but not the seats? no problem. And when the special tufting of my throw pillows was forgotten, another no problem, with an offer to drop them at my house since I lived near one of the guys. We are so pleased with the look and comfort of our lovely new couch!

My wife and I went to this location to look at the living room sets and we werent even 3 minutes in the store and this sales lady name lidia wanted us to buy something that we didnt like , I mean not even 5 minutes!!!!! in the store and she already wanted us to pick something and buy it. It looked like she was in a hurry for us to pick something. Stay away from that lady lidia serrano " sales consultant" need to learn how to treat customers and give a chance to look around. Is bs with this type of people.

Friendly staff, exceptional prices, delivery was prompt and store offered a huge selection of inventory. I will definitely recommend friends and family. Sheryl B was my sales consultant who is just phenomenal. Devora is one of the store managers who also assist my family and I with our purchase. We couldnt ask for a more desirable experience. the store is awesome its got prices you can afford an the furniture is top quality. Ask for Chetyl an you will not have any trouble this woman is helpful not pushy an knows her stuff or goes an ask someone . She did some magic thing an got my furniture i in less than a week. Ive been going to this location for a year and I always go to her. Shes my favorite.. if anything happens she will call you and make sure youre happy. I always go straight to her.

Bought a leather couch and sofa from them. Wanted a color that was special order. Should be here in about 10 to 14 days. Salesman was very helpful and worked hard for the sale. Put it on 12 months no interest and am waiting the arrival. Store was very clean and neat.
