Close to home. Black owned. Good selection for a small store. Got a great deal. Buy one get one wigs $15 each. Young lady was very helpful. Didnt think they had what i wanted and she went and found it. She was very nice. And though people came in while helping me she was sure to answer all our questions. Only hair store Ill be using. And im from Kansas. Theres hair stores everywhere but not black own. Love it!

I wanted to find a black owned beauty supply in Houston since Id be working here for several months. I googled Obsidian and loved the story: A black woman owner, YaY. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful, yet never pushy. They carry the Hairfinity vitamins, also. Im heading back tomorrow to patronize this business again.

I got sew in extensions and I am so thrilled you cannot tell and the placement is awesome. It was my first experience with extensions and I am so glad I took the plunge. You will not regret it. Awesome service. Ebony was amazing and the sales associate was so informative and made me feel at ease. I will go back for more.

I LOVE this beauty supply. The staff is REALLY kind and helpful. Theres also a few in-house beauticians that are talented, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about hair. This is by new hair spot.

The inventory is ALWAYS low or completely out. The price range is not at all competitive with other beauty supply stores in the area and the neither is the customer service.
