TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Multiple deliveries of the wrong color furniture (white vs tan). Abusive and threatening customer service representative. Lying salesman. We ordered a leather love seat and couch from these people (January 2015) and waited a month to get it in. When it was delivered it was the wrong color. We called and called and tried to get some attention to our problem and got a total runaround. The salesmen insisted the order was right which was a lie as confirmed by the order color number. When we asked to speak to the manager of the store, the salesman lied (we found out later from corporate) and said he was the manager when if fact he was not. Calls to corporate finally put us in touch with a lady (April 2015) that confirmed that what was delivered was in fact the wrong color and a corporate representative was dispatched to our home a few days later and took pictures of the furniture and who also confirmed that stuff delivered was the wrong color and he advised the right color would be ordered and take 4 to 6 weeks. For a solid week after this visit and something on the order of 20 calls with messages left at both the store and at corporate we still do not have confirmation the correct order was placed. Weve been going around and around with these people for almost 7 months now. Most recent attempt (THIRD in August 2015) at getting the order correct was again to send the same color weve been getting all along. The worst part of the entire experience is in dealing with a non-responsive and extremely abusive "customer service" representative. She has failed to return numerous messages and been very argumentative to the point of calling my wife a "b*tch", "a liar" and "a thief" Now after 7 months of messing around with this entirely unprofessional and inept company were going to purchase replacement furniture from a major furniture store right across the freeway from Lazy Boy where weve done business with for years who we should have stayed with and buying new furniture, then having Lazy Boy pick their stuff up. Problem with that will undoubtedly be actually being able to contact Lazy Boy because when you do try to call their customer service you are hold FOREVER and they have proven to be totally unresponsive and do not return messages. Unless your a masochist, do not do business with Lazy Boy. Take your business across the freeway to the major and well known furniture store. If you just have to have Lazy Boy furniture, let them order it for you. At least they try to please their customers by getting your order right, have fantastic customer service and stand behind every purchase.

The salesperson was pleasant at the Katy Freeway Lazyboy store where we purchased the custom ordered couch and loveseat The furniture showroom was attractive. Problem The recliner pull mechanism on the couch, 2014 purchase year has broken twice- first broke and replaced in 2016 and the same replaced pull broke off again a few days ago. Our custom furniture is not treated roughly. The other pull cord end of the couch n two on loveseat have not broken. The company representative with Lazy Boy lifetime warranty who answered the phone, was polite. I was told the pull mechanism would be mailed to our home for us to do the install/repair which requires tipping the large heavy couch forward/over to do the replacement. If we could not manage it, a repairman could come to our house for an $80.00 fee. I was concerned about a repeat occurencee. I do not know if it is a design flaw. I found Lazy Boy does not offer me another option for dealing with this issue. This is standard for Lazy Boy. * We must fix it, ask a handyman we might know or pay the $80.00 repairmans fee. We are not pleased about the repeat incident of the broken pull mechanism n the $80.00 repair fee after it arrives. .

Went into the store to purchase a rocking swivel recliner for new baby. The sales person "helping" me couldnt wait to push us out of the store. They must have some system where the sales person cant latch onto the next person until "their" customer has left the store. This is a bad incentive as we felt very rushed while in the store. So I went in wanting to buy and based on the treatment decided not to. While the sales lady was trying to push us out of the store they kept saying. Go look only its great, best way to find what colors you want etc. I did that, and called back to check availability, I spoke with the same person and they said "Online is no good because the colors dont match, why dont you come in a see what you want". Again, I felt like they had zero patience for my questions over the phone and just wanted to get off the phone. I wanted to purchase and again I did not because I was miffed at the treatment from the sales person. My advice is DONT SHOP HERE, Im going out of my way to find an alternative so I dont have to deal with these people.

We were looking for a love seat and couch. We had found one at another store but they claimed it was out of stock and out of production and could not get it so we went to Lazy Boy and found the love seat and couch there. We talked to Mark the salesman and his price was considerably higher but he told us if we could get a written statement from the other place they would match the price. We called the other place the sales lady there texted Mark and he matched their price saving us a considerable amount of money.. I would encourage anybody going to Lazy Boy to seek out Mark as he remained professional courteous during the entire transaction.

Run dont walk from this furniture store! They lie and do anything to get that furniture in your house and if you have a problem or in our case damaged furniture on delivery you are SOL. The customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Document everything and record the conversations because they are a joke and I was actually called a liar by Michelle the customer rep I was working with. Her manager Pat will NEVER return any call or email. We contacted the BBB for the first time ever and that went nowhere. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Purchased two recliners from them that had memory foam. In a 1 year period they had to repaired twice since the fabric was coming apart and the memory foam was coming loose. They kept the two recliners over at their shop for over a month to repair them because they lied about having the parts. The memory foam is sagging again and they ignoring their own warranty and the extended warranty purchased. STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Purchase furniture elsewhere and save you self the hassle! Just google LA-Z-Boy complaints and you will see!

This was one the best sales experiences Ive had in a long time. Mark was very helpful without being pushy or hovering around you. He was sincere and to point in helping me evaluate options and styles. I didnt make the purchase til about 2 months later and he remembered what I was looking for. I got a great price on custom sofas, which were ready early in about 4-5 weeks not the 8-12 weeks. Lazboy has some nice modern designs that dont look like recliners, but they are! Thanks again Mark!
