Ive been a customer there for 5+ years and always walked away satisfied. The quality of the work has always been great and customer service also. But for some reason tonight that changed. As I was pulling up front I seen a Hispanic gentleman come to the door. I assumed he just responded to my headlights and checked to see if it was a customer. I walked to the door and seen a few people standing there. As I pulled the door it was locked. So I waved towards him and he proceeded to act like he didnt see me. The people at the desk motioned towards him I was still there. The time was about 10:00p. He approached the glass and made a cut motion across his neck that they were closed. So I then motioned pointing at the hours posted on the door. Open til 2:00a. He threw his arms up like he didnt care. So at that point I told him through the glass Ive been coming here for years and they were about to lose a customer. I get many compliments on my tattoos all the time and always referred people there. So Im writing this because closed or not thats horrible customer service. And why post hours til 2:00a? When it should say we close whenever we want and dont have to explain anything? Out of decency he couldve open the door and spoke to me instead of brushing me off like Im nobody or someone who wanted to spend there time and money in the establishment. I hope this review gets to the owner and I get a reply. Until then I will not spend my hard earned money there or refer anyone ever again. Thanks. God bless

I at one time had the at most respect for this shop until recently. I have full reighn to say what I think especially considering I was an apprentice at this shop. I can vouche for the fact that the shop is cleaned pretty well throught the entire day. Also that the work from the artist is pretty well done. However the management of this shop is beyond rediculous. I experienced countless amounts of... scenes here. Between drama with females to police having to show up and even bullets being shot into the front of the place. I firmly believe you would be better off just going to another place. Being that they ran off the piercer ,whome I should say is actually very good at what he does, I find no reason as to why you should go here. If you think im blowing smoke go ahead and experience it for yourself. Otherwise you should be thanking me. So my rating being very curtious instead of bombing with a 1 or nothing for how much I hate several people here I give it a 2 for the solid fact on the AREAS are clean. Watch this get deleted. Dont worry Ill post for everyone on google as well. As for a word from myself several of you at the place are cool in my books but the rest shove it..

In my opinion, I-45 ink has to be one of the best shops in Houston, and I will tell you why. I-45 ink has... *A Cool, Clean, Chill and Welcoming Atmosphere. *Highly Experienced Male and Female Piercers *Highly Talented and Self Motivated Artists that are Passionate about their work. *Quality Machines, Hardware and Materials ( no one here uses a $5 tattoo gun, or a cheap tattoo kit they bought from china on ebay) *Photoshop CS6 ( for customizing and planning out tattoos ) *An Excellent and Comfortable waiting area. Direct TV, Pool Tables, etc. *Friendly, Respectful, and Helpful staff. *and much more... Personally, as a tattoo artist, I believe the most important part of my job is customer satisfaction, cleanliness and safety. We put 100% into every tattoo, because, #1 Its what YOU deserve, but (for us) its another great tattoo to add to our portfolios, which is the root to advancing our careers as professional tattoo artists. We hope to see you soon. :)

Came here once to get my philtrum pierced aka medusa and they were having a party outside with beers and ladies and whatnot. When I met the "piercer" I instantly got a bad feeling, yet I went through and let him go for it. He seemed drunk or high on drugs and I asked him if he had done either or to see if he would be honest and I couldve just simply left. Yet he continued with me and said he could assure me he wasnt drunk or high. I paid him and he took me to his area and I had to do my own placement because he kept getting it wrong. Once I chose, he stuck the needle through and couldnt get the jewelry in. He kept forcing the jewelry in and then I started to bleed a lot. This was my bad for not listening to my gut feeling, but he couldve been honest as well. Overall at least he paid me back my money, but will never go back here. The place also had a terrible smell.

I found Daniel through Google and emailed him about some wrist tatts. He was quick to get back to me and was extremely helpful. His attitude was great and he didnt mind me asking a lot of questions. These were my first tattoos and I was nervous about everything (the tats sucking especially). I was even more relieved when he was easy to connect with because the last guy I talked to about doing them was kind of a dick. We set a day and he made me feel really comfortable, despite how nervous I was. He didnt mind when I acted like a sissy when it hurt. Its a sterile environment, the people are friendly and dont ignore you when youre standing around waiting. They have a pool table and a big screen tv to play video games on while youre waiting. The prices werent that bad for my tats, either. I definitely recommend this place, especially Daniel Garcia.

Have been to 45 ink on several occasions. I love the atmosphere and the artists are very talented. The tattoos are of very high quality and reasonably priced. We love them so much that even my great aunt went to go get her first tattoo here and shes in her 60s! To the ppl that have negative reviews all I can say is " the customer is always a customer" Not everyone will be happy with what they have and prefer to hate! Will keep going till the day I die! For sure a keeper, found my place.

I came here to get a tattoo and it came out amazing. Vince was my artist today, and i will be coming back to him for more tattoos. He is incredibly talented, and he knows how to draw anything. I had been to a few shops before i came here, i didnt like the art or ideas the other shops came up with. These guys gave me exactly what i was looking for. Good customer service, good respect and attention and Not expensive either. I love my tattoo.

definitely an icon of the community. Aside from being the biggest tattoo shop in Houston, the highly skilled artists, and environment create an atmosphere that enables ones tattoo fantasies to become a reality in Ink. Monthly events include anything from benefits, art shows and fundraisers for the community.
