Barnett is an excellent family environment with lots of cool inventory and some of the nicest people youll find in the business. Even after already purchasing, I still like to visit just to look around with my friend whos looking to get a bike too. The ONLY complaint I have is that I had regretfully paid way more than I should have. Understandably, the bike itself was already a pretty good deal for being almost new with a used price tag; so I made no fuss when it came to that. The cost I am upset about was for the accessories and installation. Of course, anyone should expect to pay a premium price for new accessories straight from the dealer, but the frustrating part was that they fell off almost immediately! I paid approximately $600 in labor alone to have my exhaust, passenger cushion, and pegs installed. Im very experienced with mechanical work, and could have done this myself easily, but I was also excited to just have my new bike ready to go ride as soon as I signed. To my surprise, 1 week into riding, the passenger "sissy strap" pulled right off with ease while my wife was hanging onto it! Nothing really happened, so I fixed it when we got home, and didnt let it bother me. Not long after, I started hearing something like piston slap from the front of the bike only to discover later that there were nuts missing from my exhaust flange, and the exhaust was basically dangling from the side of my bike! Once again, I repaired it myself. After Calling a few times, and emailing directly, Ive gotten no response about it. Im not sure whos doing the inspections, but my left blinker on the display has been out since I took it home, but honestly Im hesitant to take it back here for service. I really like Barnett a lot, but this situation has left me pretty frustrated.

I have shopped here off and on over the past twelve years. They are overpriced in their bikes and have a lot of "junk" on their floor as the owner appears to be somewhat of a hoarder. They prey on bikers with less than perfect credit and overcharge for the bike and pad the deal along with really high interest rates (none of which I was subjected to as I used Pentagon Fed. CU). I bought my bike there years back new and got it for MSRP as I would have otherwise bought it through the military buying service. My salesman was great! The guy next to me was buying the exact same bike and was paying $5000 more than me as he was paying the "Barnett" price. Their service department is SLOW and also overpriced. They are predatory and a local monopoly and their building is a disaster that Harley should look at to force them to bring it up to standard. I order my parts from a dealer in PA that gives a military discount (Barnett does not), and I go to other local competent, reasonable, and punctual service establishments (Barnett put 60w oil in my bike when I asked for synthetic the only time I took it there). Oh, also they offer next to nothing on trade ins and overcharge significantly for their used/abused bikes. Drive to AZ or northern NM if you want a bike. Lastly, I am friends with several ex-Barnett employees who left due to their unfair business practices and now work elsewhere as the root of the problem is the Barnetts.

DON"T GO HERE! They charge so much money and take forever to work on your bike and make stuff up. I walked in there to drop off my bike, It says $75 per hour labor charge on a sign ion the wall, when I come back to pick it up theres a sticker over the $75 that was there and the sticker said $95, which is what I was charged. They tried To tell me over the phone that to just change a security module, that it took 11 hours of labor and the part cost $300. Thats over 1300$ for changing a security module! After arguing the price, they ever so gratiously dropped it down to 4 hours which I think was just one of those "lets throw a ridiculously high price at this guy, then say were doing him a favor by lowering it so he is gratfull for the next high price we throw at him. my bike was left out, with fresh rain spots all over it,. They sent me on my way without giving me the key fob that comes with the security module, and let me drive off with no working lights and a bad rear brake. These guys suck, they blow smoke up your rear, they over charge, they BS and they Have no problem ripping off military folks. DON"T GO HERE!

Worst customer service experience. First the store is hot inside and on a hot day you dont want to be hot. I can see why employees never smiled. Had a few questions a nice lady in parts Liz sent me to service, walked in it was much cooler. I asked a young woman about a hissing noise I heard in my motor she came and listened said she didnt hear anything stood there staring at me with an annoyed look. I asked if she was a technician she said "No the Assistant Manager". I asked to have a professional mechanic listen she walked through a set of doors never to return. The three people at the desks in the service area were very pleasant while I waited for her return. Then John approached me and asked if I was waiting to pick up, repeated my issue he listened and assured me nothing was wrong. His confidence made me feel much better. Richard and Kim kept my wife entertained. Kudos to those 3, but the ill experienced "Assistant Manager" needs to go back to school. The topper was I asked to speak to the Assistant Manager again, she had left for the day.

Service here is horrible! So are the sales associates! Brought in my scooter to get serviced and it is running worse now then before. The gaskets are beginning to leak just 5k miles after they replaced them with new ones. I tried to purchase a bike for my wife their and the associates were horrible! I know that LC is the same owner but ran by the daughter, she does a much better job! Take your business elsewhere, these guys will take you for a ride! Cont... Parts counter is the worst! I ordered a couple of parts from Rick and initially he said they would get in after a week. That next week he said that the part was on backorder and suggested I order the part from another dealer and I would need to pay for shipping. Once the part was in the other part did not include what he initially said it would. These guys are a joke horrible business they dont care because the are the only show in town. Buy your parts online and close this crappy business down. I cant believe they are still open...

These people are crooks! I went in looking at bikes, still trying to decide if I want a Heritage or an Ultra. They do have a great selection, but the bikes are overpriced. I pointed out to a salesman (didnt get his name) that the bikes are priced above MSRP. He vary arrogantly told me "we dont sell at MSRP, we dont have to". The owner, Sherman, brags about being a military veteran, when I pointed out that I was a 25 year veteran, I was told "we dont do any discounts. The only thing I can figure is that he brags about his veteran status to try to build false trust with the large veteran community here so he can line his pockets with much of their money as possible. Dont be fooled by these crooks, take your business elsewhere and keep more of your hard earned money in your own pocket. BTW, when I told the arrogant salesman that I wasnt paying over MSRP, or even MSRP and I could get a better deal in Tucson or Santa Fe, he told me to enjoy the drive and walked away.
