Horrible experience. I purchased a desk online that totaled almost $500. I requested store pick up because they showed to have one in stock, and I did not want to pay for shipping. I get an email from the store saying that the desk was ready for pick up. I drove 30 minutes to the store to find out that they do not have the desk in stock. They also said no other local store had the desk. They also said they did not have my phone number on file to call and tell me this even though in the email confirmation THEY sent me that day had my phone number in it! So, after an hour of them trying to figure out what they could do for me, the finally discounted the desk a measly $35 and shipped it to me for free. I needed this desk quickly, thats why I wanted to pick it up. This was on a Thursday, and the manager promised I would have the desk on the following Monday. I specifically requested to have the desk left on the door step with no signature because I knew I would not be home. Well, they didnt even call me until Tuesday. They called Tuesday to let me know the desk would be there between 12 and 3 on Wednesday. I again reminded them to leave it on the porch and that I would not be home. Come 4pm on Wednesday, still no desk. I call Thursday, and the lady tells me they attempted to deliver the desk at 5pm, but I wasnt home. I asked her why she didnt leave it and she said she needed a signature, and if I wanted it left I had to write a note to the driver and leave it taped to the front door. I do not know why I was not told this the other 2 times I requested it to be left on the porch. Finally, Friday evening the desk arrives, but of course, very damaged. The largest box with the desk top surface pieces in it have one corner completely bashed in. So, I call the store. Alan apologizes and says he will contact all local stores to try to find me a replacement ASAP. The other alternative was for me to package this huge desk (U-shaped desk with a hutch) back into the damaged packaging a return it to the store. This desk is so heave that they had to drop it off in my driveway on a pallet with a forklift! He also said if I went through the manufacturer that it could take weeks or months. 1 week goes by and he still cant locate a desk. I make ONE phone call to another local store. The manager there tells me they sold their last one JUST THE DAY BEFORE, and that no other stores have them in stock!! I couldnt believe this. The manager at that store told me to simply call the manufacturer and I would receive new pieces within a few days for free. Alan just led me on to believe that he was looking for one for me. I spend thousands of dollars a year with Office Depot and Office Max through my business, but with this horrible experience I believe they have lost me as a customer.

Its a pretty good office supply store. They have computers, basic office supplies, shipping supplies, printing service and more. I have purchased an office chair and many office supplies from this location. The staff has always been helpful when I come in. The staff will walk me to the item Im looking for. Checking out is always pretty fast. They have a printing department that I have not used at this location. If you need things like banners or business cards, they can do it for you. You can also get black and white and color copies made. Tip, if you need resume paper go ask the printing department. They have many paper options, and you can buy it by the individual sheet. You can ship or drop your already paid for packages for UPS and FedEx. I took a star off because the store doesnt take USPS packages which I ship the most of.

We dropped a one of a kind, irreplaceable notebook here for copies in September. The person "helping" was extremely rude at the time. Several months went by with no word on the copy. Finally went in to be told they remodeled in October and threw everything they had back there away. The manager claimed he called everyone twice, but not only did we never get a call they didnt even have a record of us as customers (even though they did charge us). Its highly doubtful they even remodeled because the counters and cabinets of the copy center are litterally falling apart. This store is filthy and the employees are rude and completely incompetent. We will never shop at an Office Max or Depot again.

Great customer service! I purchased a large quantity of items for the non-for-profit organization I work for... but didnt realize I was supposed to have them ring it up without the tax. Having put the purchase on my own credit card, when I went back to work to be reimbursed, I was told they could not cover what I paid in tax. So I returned to OfficeMax, where both the sales associate and manager went above and beyond to right my mistake. To make the situation more complex, I had driven to Plano to pick up more supplies. The manager at the Denton store was able to fix that too. Great job, guys! Thank you again!

Oh. My. Lanta. These people here are saints. When I couldnt get my project printed and bound at school for free, they did it for about 50% off of what they normally charge. I also had to go back to have it redone the next day because I ended up adding a page at the end of my report, and the same sweet man completely redid the entire thing at no cost. Beautiful, beautiful people here.
