You want to avoid this place like the plague. GO TO PLANO, its close enough to drive the extra few minutes. The staff is incredibly rude and miserable. Especially the older lady named, Lisa, whos worked there for years. She will do everything in her power to make sure you have the worst possible experience. I have to buy stuff here for work all of the time and I dread it... I dont understand how you can call yourself a Christian establishment with such hateful, miserable people running the place. I purchased over 3k worth of items including some custom framing, wrote a check and it wouldnt clear, Im on the phone with my bank trying to figure out whats happening and because I have the money in my account, yet their system reads the check once then they refuse to try again. I have my stuff set to the side and plan to drive down the road to my bank to pull out the cash since it wont clear and, of course, theres 20 people in line behind me because its 1952 in there and 1 line is open with a million people standing around... I step outside and my banker calls back saying shes transferred the money to my personal account so I dont have to leave, as I walk back in the lady is broadcasting, "we apologize for the woman who tried to write a bad check and made everyone wait" Are you kidding me?! Is that really necessary?! I havent been out of the building for 2 minutes and you are actually bad mouthing a customer to other customers?! I was horribly embarrassed and wish I never had to step foot back in this establishment. I make it a point to drive to Plano now where the staff is actually happy to be there and help you. I dont see how this location is still open.

I want to start this by saying that Hobby Lobby is my FAVORITE store. I spend many hours and money there. I use to love this location. My last visit there changed that. I will never shop at this hobby lobby again. The lady who checked me out was horrible! Her name was Linda. The lady in front of me in line asked Linda where an item was, and Linda pointed across the store and said, "right there." The customer said "where?". Linda said "right where I am pointing!". The customer responded "I understand you are pointing, but I dont see it." Linda respond with "Maybe you need your eyes checked because its RIGHT THERE." The customer was so upset! She looked like she was going to cry and ran out of the store. I decided to try and kill this lady with kindness, but it didnt work! She begins checking me out. One item I thought was 50% off but she didnt ring it up that way. I asked about it. She picks up the weeks flyer and THROWS it at me. She then says "learn to read because its no where on this flyer. SHOW me where it is on this flyer." I just said "sorry I guess I was confused?" But I was shocked. Then when it was time for me to leave, one of my items hadnt been bagged. I went to grab it and she snatches it and says, "Ill get to that in a minute. Have some patience." I was so appalled. This lady is working at a Christian store and treating people like crap! I will not shop at a store that supports people like her. You wont see me back at this location until this lady is gone!

The people in the framing department are rude. The first time I went there, I needed a window cut in a 27 X 40 mat. The framer said that the mat wizard would not cut an opening that large. I know for a fact the it will and with not much effort. All you do is program the Wizard to cut the inside. That framer had a lazy attitude, so I went home and cut it myself on a small, inexpensive mat cutter. The next time I went there, I wanted to do some pop-ins. The framer jumped my case for touching their tools. I told her that Hobby Lobby always had a policy for do-it-yourself framers. She explained to me that the people who had worked there previously did not enforce the rules, and were not supposed to let people use the tools. That was a lie! Hobby Lobby started the tool rack outside for not only framers, but customers too. Now, they are saying that somebody lied about it. I asked to talk to the manager, and he would not talk to me. I am an attendant for people with mental disorders. Recently, I took one of my clients in that store. He picked-up one of their electric screwdrivers. Someone who worked there started yelling at him. That is right yelling at him.! This was the straw that broke that camels back. I would avoid this place! Its BAD!!! Hobby Lobby is sub-human. I can buy art supplies at Wal-Mart or Michaels. Im done!!!

We just went to this store location yesterday and went to the rubber stamp section for some ink pad. We asked one lady there working in this section about Distress Ink, and she just stared back at me without any response. I repeated my question and still her response was almost a non-response. I gave up the first time and just went on looking for the ink myself. Finally found it. And then, I couldnt find Versa Mark and couldnt help but ask that same lady again. She made me repeat the brand name 3 times and said she doesnt know about that brand. It turns out that where she was working BLOCKED our view from finding the ink and this rude, very very rude lady just made us feel as if we had owed her big time by asking her to help. The economy is so bad and they are hiring this kind of people working there? That lady should be fired! But I didnt have the heart to complain. We went to the other department and 2 ladies there were very helpful. But again, we had another cold encounter today when we went back for a canvas. Its like at least 50% of the workers here dont want to work. If they cant do what they do, they should give up the job to others who need the job and are willing to give a little decent service!!

My favorite location by far! They have a bigger selection than other locations. The only two things I didnt like are, no one there to help you get things on top shelves, and their store hours. First, I had to track someone down three times to get me flowers from the top shelf, dont know why they dont just stay in the flower area to help. That wasted a lot of my time. Second, they are closed on Sundays!! Thats craft day for all the crafters I know! And they close at 8pm on other days...you are a huge store with many different products that people need, maybe stay open til 9pm? And it seemed like they made closing announcements every 5 minutes starting at 7:30pm...I found that extremely annoying while Im waiting on someone with a ladder for 10 minutes.

Just came home from having a horrible experience from this particular Hobby Lobby. I asked the cashier what the price was for a nice floral arrangement and she rolled her eyes at me! I asked what her name was but she just ignored me! Then I called her supervisor so she could know what type of person is working there but she was uninterested at my complaint and left. No apology was offered from either employees. In case you want to know, the cashier was a Tall, Curly-Haired African female and the supervisor was an Asian female named Christina. I left without knowing the price for the merchandise and very dissatisfied! These are unprofessional, awful, and disrespectful workers! Never coming here again!
