A Private User

My mother bought me a set of cookware from Ace Hardware in LaGrange, Texas. I did not like them, she sent me the receipt. I went into this Ace location and was told they would not take the cookware back because they do not carry that brand. I asked to speak with the manager/owner. The owner came out, told me he would not give me money back or issue a store credit. He said "I do not carry that brand cookware and it is no use to me". I told him it was no use to me as well! He slapped his business card on top of the cookware, said "well I do not care what you do with them" and walked off. There was no notice on the receipt that you have to return items to the original store of purchase if they do not carry that particular item (as each one is privately owned). Mr. Chuck O Malley and his Ace Hardware location do not know or care about customers and customer service. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!

Very good place to shop and reasonably priced. However, there was one time I was sending out mail and this lady in front of me had about 100+ envelopes to mail out... yeah. The clerk didnt bother to call for back up and the employees that did walk by never bothered to help me. I was only shipping off one thing. But other than the mail service, everything else was excellent.

i will never go there again. went to get propane. they told me they were having trouble with their motor and would not sell me any . i thought ok no problem. as i walk back to my truck i witnessed 3 people go in pay and they filled up their tanks . sucks because that store is close to my house . but they have lost a customer over this .

While they dont have the variety of sometimes the prices of the bigger hardware stores, the more than make up for it with convenience and friendly employees who know what they are talking about. They have what i need for most of my weekend projects.
